2010 Yeti 303 R DH Bike
Best bike ever!
The Good
Corners very well, stable on the fast strait sections, takes jumps amazingly, and pedals very well. Also the linear rail allows for a really good rate throughout the travel. Looks so sick!
The Bad
Have not yet found one.
Overall Review
Truly the best bike I have ever ridden.

Stroker Trails
The Good
Good stopping power, reliable feel, easy reach adjustment.
The Bad
It's hard to stop the pads from rubbing and the perch takes up a lot of room on the bars.
Overall Review
I got these brakes cheap, and for the price they are great. If you are paying full retail price, there may be some better options.

Shimano Saint Hydraulic Disc Brake
The Good
Power, Minimal fading, great control over the power
The Bad
Weight, bleeding
Overall Review
This brake is absolutely amazing DH-wise. Best thing about it isn't just power which is terryfying. It is how great you can control it, you can feel the wheel lock point perfectly. Fading is so minimal that for the sake of the rotors I actualy don't recommend it for a DH rookie. It is good to know under which conditions rotor gets cooked. A beginner will cook rotors on long descents as he/she won't feel fading and will not realize when it is time to give the brake a break... I take the star of

FOX 36 Talas 160 RC2 Fit Fork
The Good
The high speed and low speed compression adjustment works wonders. Got mine with the low speed almost closed and the high speed at 3/4 from full open and it's great! It will fail a "parking lot" test though.
The Bad
My rebound is 2 cliks from full closed position and it works fine, but it's the first fork I've had that needs the rebound to be this closed to fully closed to work. The travel adjustment isn't very reliable. SOmetimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Compression adjustments seem to change when droping the travel.
Overall Review
Great fork! The Talas system doesn't really need to be there since it doesn't really work. Otherwise at full travel it is great! The axle system is awesome, imo better than maxle and the chassis is super stiff. Got it on a Commencal Meta6 and a a Transition Covert.

The Good
plush, great for all mountain and some DH. they were night and day difference between my old 66's ..
The Bad
the adjustment between travel settings is unreliable
Overall Review
mine was a 2008 so i'm not sure how they are now but, i sent these back to fox 5 times within the 2 years.. the very last time it was out of warranty so i paid for a full rebuild, got them back and still, problems .. this time the Rebound knob is weeping like crazy. i'm going to be really really honest, i actully like how the fork performs but thats if it ever really worked.. i can't believe how bad it was.

Crankbrothers 5050 XX Flat Pedal
Not worth the price
The Good
Good concave shape. Very good traction with the set screws
The Bad
Not as durable as it should be for the price. The removable plates are unnecessary. Profile could be slimmer.
Overall Review
I love the shape and traction on the 50/50's but they are not bomb proof. There are too many moving parts. I would not buy again.

Maxxis Minion DHF Tire
The Good
The Minions track and brake well in loose, dry conditions. Very predictable at any speed. The 2 ply casing can handle the sharpest and roughest terrain. The 42a duro is ridiculous but lasts a short time. 3C duro is appropriate for non race applications.
The Bad
Price. The price listed is inaccurate.
Overall Review
Simply, the best tire for dry, loose conditions. Period.
