The Good

They have awesome graphics. The fit is perfect and the sizes are spot on. These lids are well know and they work. The whole helmet is luxurious looking and feeling. Great weight too.

The Bad

These helmets have a signature look to them. They are notoriously round and big.

Overall Review

When i got my helmet i instantly loved it. The product is great. I would reccomend this helmet to anyone. A beginner or and advance rider, even the pros use these lids.

2011 Trek Remedy 9.9 Bike

The Good

DRCV, ABP suspension.
Talas up front.
Very good brakes.
Good and light wheels. Bontrager TLR system.
Climbs very good, and decends even better.
Pretty light bike overall.
Carbon armor on downtube.

The Bad

Needs Talas fork to climb good in steep terrain.
Don't need 3 rings up front. And no good chainguide setup availebel.
The freehub body made alot of noice. Got a new one.
CrankBrothers Joplin.
The Bonty DXD tires are realy crap!

Overall Review

Liked the bike from the start. Climbed placed I couldnt do before, and decended smoother. The Talas fork realy helps in steep climbing. The rear wheele sticks to the ground all the time and makes traction very good. Suspension dos'nt firm up when brakeing. Changed the tires to Bontrager FR3 with alot of skepticism, but they are among the best tires I have ever ridden. Both in wet and dry terrain. Dont need 3 rings up front. I would like 2x20 or 1x10. MRP are working on a DM version of the 1X. I

Specialized Chunder DH Tire

The Good

They grip very well on wet, dry, dusty and loamy terrain. Very predictable and solid. Drift well. Strong sidewalls. Very durable tires.

The Bad

A little heavy feeling but for freeriding its no big deal.

Overall Review

Specializeds makes some great stuff. These tires run large and this is well known. Very similar to the Maxxis High Roller. They are also excellent tires for any type of freeriding or downhilling. You cant go wrong with these tires.

2011 Santa Cruz Nomad Freeride Bike

The Good

bike feels amazing downhill and pedals like a hardtail uphill. half the time i don't even use the pro pedal it barely moves when u pedal. grease ports of suspension linkages. flys real nice

The Bad

bit heavy and pricy but no realy major flaw, bigger rear axel would be nice

Overall Review

great bike to add to the collection can take 4-5ft drops to flat with ease and im a big guy. really makes you feel comfortable on the downhill. the whole bike has made me more confident. once u have it dialed in this is one hell of a all mountain machine!

looks good, vents good, dosen't get smelly from constant use, the sleeves flap when your bombing downhill the faster u go the cooler it feels

The Bad

already snagged it on some thorns and have torn material (not bad)

Morewood Bicycles Kalula Frame

The Good

Suspension design, cornering, weight, finish

Overall Review

The suspension designs of Morewood are seriously sweet. I got a bit of time on a Makulu prior to the arrival of my Kalula (see review here: [url]http://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Frames,7/Morewood-Bicycles/Makulu,1734[/url]) and was hoping the rear end of the Kalula would feel as incredible as the Mak...it does. The low leverage ratio makes the rear feel different than many other bikes...they feel super squishy in the parking lot, but you quickly realize on the trail that there is no mushy

Banshee Spitfire (2010) Frame

The Good

Quite unique geometry for a 5" travel frame. This bike is FAST on the descents and an absolute blast when you get the opportunity to really open it up. Changing the geo with the front shock mount is super quick to do and very effective. The aggressive geo is complemented by the awesome chassis stiffness, allowing you to push a 5" air sprung bike much harder than it should be. Bike comes with an extra hanger and pivot bushings which is a nice touch. Build quality seems to be pretty top notch.

The Bad

Ano finish is a bit fragile, dropouts are fairly generic/clunky. Slightly shorter chainstays would make the bike a bit more nimble and fun. If it were designed around a 7.875" i2i shock one could play with coil shock options.

Overall Review

A pretty unique bike that is meant for riders that can appreciate how hard it can be pushed. Adjustable geo is easy to change, and the low/slack position is very much so for a trail bike. The shock does seem to be much more active in the low/slack setting, leaving the high/steep setting feeling snappy for trail riding but a bit harsh over the chatter.

Everything about these bars is great ! Weight , Rise , Length, Graphics
I use Dirty Thirty for DH and like the wider bars -So the 29 seems to be good fit for me on the Topsoil

The Bad

None to report other then some of the graphics are covered up by the grips -

Evil Revolt Frame

The Good

The ride is great. There is nothing bad about the ride quality of this bike. Pure dh race rig thats highly adjustable.

The Bad

The company itself, specifically the warranty department. I broke my frame in October of last year. After talking to Gabe in warranty and sending pictures to him, he agreed to replace the frame under warranty. He promised me that this would be taken care of no later than February. When February came he said it would be 45 days, production problems in China. 45 days past and I was getting a little pissed with race season starting I still had no frame. He promised me it would be taken care of no later than the end of March. Now we are at the end of March, he says he has 70 frames that just came in and 50 of them are junk, he'll call me back with a status. It's now August and he has not returned any of my calls, my shops calls, and the reps that were selling the frames have quit.

Overall Review

I say to anyone who is thinking of buying this frame to reconsider. Don't make the mistake I did spending your hard earned money. They have had several revisions to this frame and it's still not holding up. The only ones they are taking care of are themselves. I started checking around to see what happened to the 20 "GOOD" frames that pasted inspection and the bike shop down the road from them got 6 of them to sell. Where did the rest go? Canada? Race team? Europe? No one knows the answer to
