Suntour TACT

Image
It's been spotted at XC races already where it has been winning quite a bit under Tom Pidcock, but now it's available to the public. This electronically controlled suspension system can adjust the compression settings of both the fork and the shock at the same time, with a reaction time of just 0.004 seconds. The system reacts to input from a sensor contained in the fork, to detect if you're climbing, descending, jumping or just shredding the gnar, and it then adjusts the compression to either open, pedal, or closed mode accordingly. The system is fully automatic, the user selects one of 8 different levels of reactivity (via a phone app), and then just sets about riding. There are no buttons or any other controls available while riding. TACT is built onto the AXON34 WERX carbon fork and a new Edge TT shock, and was designed for XC racing. The full system will retail for $4990 USD.
