POC’s Resistance apparel now comes in 3 different varieties, XC, Enduro, and Downhill, as part of their Resistance Pro series.
Features include the use of Cordura fabric in key areas to help prevent tearing and improve durability on both the jerseys and shorts. POC scales up the level of protection depending on the usage, with the DH gear featuring the thickest Cordura sections given that riders running DH gear are those prone to the heaviest crashes.
The Enduro jersey featured here has longer sleeves, tougher patches than the XC version, and the shorts that go with it feature more room in the knees to accommodate pads as needed.
Also new from POC for 2017 is the Octal X helmet.
The Octal X has the exact same silhouette as POC’s road helmet, however it features an Aramid grid in the shell to help beef things up for mountain bike use.
