Won a wc overall for one. In snowshoe in front of the American fans. Been in that 5-15 spot for most races. Probably not what she wants but also not exactly bad either.
looks to be the new intense rider is juan fervelez

trolling I think, judging by the shoe size and posture it's maybe a female racer? Johnset or Hrastnik. I'd guess Johnset with the hand pose like that. Or maybe another young, fast junior?
Long live The Union. A fraction of the budget and a bigger stack of results than so many high-dollar teams out there. Their absence tells the story of things to come.
Top comment from the other site pretty well sums up my thoughts on everything (exclusive of the last sentence, I’ll probably still watch because I’m an absolute mug)…
‘WBD keeps saying these changes are good for the sport, but I’ve never been less excited for a new season of World Cup. I have no plans to watch.’

I agree with you. What a fuckin waste. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first year and even paid to watch. Last year I pirated it out of spite and will continue to do so until they actually make a positive impact on the sport.
You know how rich dorks move into the cool neighborhood and then start complaining about the nightclub’s noise and the neighborhood starts sucking and becomes lame and they’re all looking around like what? That’s what this feels like. Union embodied the passion that truly drives the sport. Their whole thing was to help, not to earn. Pricing them out is not better for anyone.
Not really the core information everyone here is after, but I really wonder what is the actual state of bike industry considering GT has let go every single rider from their bmx team...

Not surprising but damn, what a loss for the sport!
So sad to see them go, probably my fav team ever

Both Jewetts riding team spec Giants on Prevost last week filming
Bummed to see all the teams closing, that one hits the feels bigtime. The Union did amazing work.
This makes me sad. Uci and WB ruining dreams.
I was thinking the overall was on Specialized

Nope. 2019 was her first season with Scott.
She's had a couple of rough seasons with injuries, and has still had some solid results.
on the topic of Pivot losing people.
Camden Rutherford been riding an intense lately, this kid is absurdly fast. Weird that pivot let him go after so many years.

based on things we're hearing, prob best for this thread - https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/will-more-companies-be-shutting-dow…
Welp. Doesn't sound like good news.
Pivot looking a bit light on numbers now , Bernard's trip for UCI points might not have been just for you tube views .
Any rumors about Camile Balanche ? I would have thought quite a few teams would be keen .
its possible its just a post olympics shake-up
