Unless Pivot picked up a rider or two who carries more points to guarantee them a spot in the 15 elite teams and had to cut budget. That makes me curious about Dane (I don't see him staying if Jake goes...they seem like a package deal a little bit) who would be moving up to elite if I'm not mistaken. New rules have a max of 4 riders per race per category.
If I remember correctly, Jake joined Pivot in 2022 (a quick goog reveals late-November/early-December 2022) so his contract might be up. A lot of rider contracts are only two years.
Maybe they pulled that video down to re-edit it into a "thanks to Pivot for the last couple years" video?

Norco needs a dawg to ride for them. Respectfully Lucas is not a consistent podium threat. Greg talked a huge game and will need to deliver to investors asap. There’s some banter around another Canadian rider on that roster too. FI, JJ, DJ, Kirk, CB, and Gracey would be a hell of a team. Unlikely but at some point the ranch needs to match the hat.

Frix Frix has announced on IG that he's definitely not at the World Cups anymore. I think Thomas and Matteo will be continuing. They both proved that they have a place this year with Thomas on the podium and some very solid quali/semi action from Matteo.

Is there any benefit to being higher up the team listing? Other than risk of riders being poached having a bigger effect, is there any difference in being say 9th or 13th on the list?

No benefit at all, but it does buy you some breathing space if your team has issues with injuries, crashes etc. If you were say 13th-15th, and have a bad run of not scoring, you are suddenly looking iffy. This has happened with the road WorldTour relegations, which work on a rolling multi-year points total. Those teams a few spots above the cut-off can have a bad season and be in trouble and scrambling for points.
Any info on where Danny Hart is off to next season? He must have a stack of UCI points and some teams in need of points could do with them? His performance this season warrants a bigger team ride.

Just watched Bernard Kerr YouTube video from the other day. Scary that his team needs more UCI points when all but Jenna did every race. So what does that mean for teams like Gwin Racing? AG got a small team , Cube was a smaller team and there so many others. UCI and Warner really messing things up.

It would not be surprising if AG focused on Monster Pro Downhill Series, wild card World Cup entries, and world champs next year. He seems to want to start a family with his wife and focus on his other business ventures, so staying closer to home would make sense.
