watching qualifying—pile up of masters struggling to get down the track is glorious! U19 women now, and they’re ripping. What a great day in Europe look at it
I saw an IG story that elite seeding got canceled because of too many crashes, is that true?
Yes that’s correct, that will happen when you let 497 competitors race a track like this, alot of underqualified riders on course who do not belong in a race of this caliber. Very difficult to navigate practice do to the sheer number of people on course and lift ques couseing alot of riders to drop into seeding unprepared.

They raced 17-18 Cat 1 meshed in with Pro so they were effectively in the same race. I think they first started running them together at national champs in 2021 so results before that do seem a little unfair as conditions change. There was a big hullabaloo about Logan Bingelli (Pro winner) and Neko Mulally (Junior but fastest of the weekend) in 2011 and who would wear the stripes and I think the UCI for some reason said it should Neko. The next year they included the rule on the books but they still ran juniors separately at National Champs. Juniors also still raced in elite at world cups until 2013 when the junior class was introduced.
So for the rest of the year, NO ONE in Elite will wear the US National Champion's sleeve?Asa is going to be racing Juniors for 2...
So for the rest of the year, NO ONE in Elite will wear the US National Champion's sleeve? Asa is going to be racing Juniors for 2 more years.
Luca has to take the sleeve off & we just don't have a flag in World Cups until Asa ages in or someone gets it next year?
The Canadian sleeve almost went to an enduro racer today. Jonathan Helly dropped last but finished 3rd. Kasper Wooley took 2nd and Jakob Jewett took the W. Jesse Melamed took 4th and Eliot Jamieson 5th.
Women’s side was Emmy Lan taking the win. She’s been doing more dh. Gracey Hemstreet then ALN followed by Sophie Lawrence and Miranda Miller.
I think if Johnny's fork didn't break in Sunday practice causing an ankle injury...he woulda have been up there. His qually time was faster that Jacob Jewett's finals time.

rained hard during pre-pro finals, bottom of the course was pretty wet
stoked to post up our Inside Line with Clay Harper. so many great stories but also great insights into what the future of #USDH could look like. Clay runs the Pro Downhill Series (among 400 other things he does : )
Thumbnails aside, that bike looks like it was working well for him and riding high in the travel. Does anyone know if he’s lining up for any of the remaining World Cup rounds or World Champs?

Amaury was on the start list, anyone know why he didn't race?
Yes, he wanted to save energy.
He was just here to check the track for next year world champs, and he said it's a very physical one.

Seems Canada is stronger in Enduro than DH, or maybe just need to add back Goldstone and Iles.

Shows what type of guy Aaron is that the thumbnail is him and his wife instead of new pedals, a sick scrub, or the podium.

This comment is so asinine. What ‘type’ of man is Aaron? What type of man would he be if the thumbnail was riding? Would he not love his wife?
Not to mention the thumbnail was probably chosen by an editor and Aaron may not have even given input.
1. Odd AG chose the thumb nail: zero.
2. Odds he chose it because it was a nice picture, a bit higher.
3. Oodds he chose it consciously or not to demonstrate his ccommitment to family, 3%.
There are probably plenty of ways to decide AG is a good guy. I wouldn't count tasteful youtube thumbnails as a significant deciding factor.
Thumbnails aside, that bike looks like it was working well for him and riding high in the travel. Does anyone know if he’s lining up for any of the remaining World Cup rounds or World Champs?
4. Odds that YouTube users - especially mtb video watchers - click on an attractive lady: 95%
5. Odds that YouTube's algorithm prefers/promotes videos with thumbnails of people's faces more than products thumbnails: 100%
Just wanted to also add those in there.
