Crazy situation for BK. Hate to see that. Good on local boy taking Rotorua. Jewett put on a heater as well. Those 2 boys were in a different stratosphere. Don't think BK was quite gonna get past those 2 despite the qualies.
Asa vs Tyler would be... A thing to behold. I hope they are able to make it to every round. The Goldstone vs Williams battle was a treat for those 2 years
It was a big case, but still, probably not giving him all the confidence he wanted for this season.

Yeah I jumped out of my seat when I saw that. He wasn't on a heater of a run, but he was still going for it! Seemed like the bike worked really well for his teammate.

Tyler will be at every round as long as he stays healthy, going to be doing all the crankworx stops aswell
Tyler waites run, dont know what to say, was crazy and to think he would have bet richie if it wasn’t for his mistakes. Stoked to see blenki up to speed, hell of a run
Tylers lines were my favorite all event. Even if they put him in some trouble at those speeds. Kids got VISION. And its funny the winning elite girl had great lines as noted by everyone watchin and when asked about them she said "i just followed tyler to steal his lines" lol. Is she going to world cups? That duo could work well in praccy
After comparing images and videos online, it looks like The Carbon tubes have PULLED from the headtube lug. - you can see the colour difference between the glued piece and the rest of the tube which is exactly inline with where the lug is(in photos)

hm perhaps the bike was going crazy flex and wobbly way up top.. you could see BK with weird lines out of corners and stuff .. there is more to it than just the snap moment I believe..

I had a Cervelo 2.5 that had that happen at the head tube lug. I noticed the front end getting flexy, looked down and could see movement in the joint. Spooky AF, and the bike went from being fine to unridable in less than 100m. Construction was carbon tube to carbon lug with a flour/water paste as the adhesive IIRC.
Seems to me as if Bernard/pivot want to hide this crash. Neither him nor Ed masters posted on YouTube, you'd understand Bernard not posting but Eddie been filming all week. Only bit of news about it if from Jenna's ig where she sent love to Bernard otherwise blank from anyone surrounding pivot about it. Just seems as if everyone been told not to speak about it/post about the aftermath. Perhaps Bernard went up knowing the bike wasn't feeling great?
hope bernard is ok. at least there was the clip of him sitting and talking w/ the medic, but holy crap that was a big hit.
and what about Ellie destroying the other women by almost 6 seconds. She was in a league of her own with aggression and line choice. Junior Women WC season is going to be a heater this year too!
I'm getting the names Ethan Craik and Marine Cabirou from beyond.
Unfortunately I'm a shit medium, so the spirits won't tell me who were 2nd...

The British Ethan Craik and the French Marine Cabirou, both from Scott DH Factory, today won the elite races in the first race of the Portuguese Downhill Cup (DHI) presented by Shimano, held in Vila Cova à Coelheira, Seia.
With more than 300 runners registered, the race was dominated by foreign runners. Among the male elite, Ethan Craik stood out, who made the final descent in 2'13''252, marking a significant advantage over the competition. Two Frenchmen followed, Loic Bruni (Specialized Gravity), who spent another 1.939 seconds, and Loris Vergier (Trek Factory Racing DH), who was 2.705 seconds behind. The best Portuguese was Gonçalo Bandeira (Scott DH Factory), eighth, at 3.877 seconds.
The elite women's race also had an undisputed winner. Marine Cabirou came down in 2'33''356 and left second place, Lisa Baumann (Commençal Les Orres), at 2.923 seconds. Third, at 4.395 seconds, was Phoebe Gale (Canyon/FMD Factory Racing). The best Portuguese was Joana Nunes (Sporting Clube da Travancinha), 14th, at 46.057 seconds.
Looking back on hardline, Bernard changes from a prototype with white decals to fox orange on quali day. Whether or not this was just a decal change or not is unknown but if we take that as him changing frame the frame can't be that old. Also tells us that the white decaled frame could have been damaged during hardline week and changed to a spare for the rest of the time he was down under, he then damaged the orange frame at hardline/crankworx and decided to continue riding it despite seeing the damage and risked it and payed the price.

@pressurepolice put a parody skit up already, I'd bet my left nut it's Ed behind that page. The use of the skit can only be Aussie/Kiwi and an older one at that to get the reference used.

We all know what Eddie is like trackside, if he was filming for finals (which I bet he was) he would want to be the first to get his video out - the top comment on his most recent one is about getting it out faster than Bernard. The fact he ain't posted must hint at something being covered up/not wanting to show to public
What's Ethan been up to hitting this second gear? 2nd place WC last season. Beating Bruni in a pre-season race (among others). I love the mix up of winners in DH right now. Even more fun to follow than supercross/MX.

Rob with the “worse case scenario’ during the replay, Warner gold
it looks like the glue gave out???
Crazy run by Tyler Waite. Still think he’s the jr to beat this year.

And we're back to prototypes causing guys to re-think their career choices.
Is it 1998 again?
And we get to watch the juniors race now!
Seia Portugal Cup toke this weekend with big names like Bruni, Vergier, Daprela... but can`t find results nowhere. Anyone? Thanks

Were you his wrench that year?
That's the bike that made him cancel his DH subscription right?
Reece Wilson a second out of the top 15 for his first race back in almost 2 years.
