Gwin hasn’t been on a DH bike for nearly a year.

They were not enforcing age category for the enduro last weekend as far as racing up.

Asa is in elite. The only US racer of consequence he has yet to beat is Dak...also racing elite this weekend.

In my opinion, this is as stacked a line up the US has had in a long time. Only Luca Shaw missing from the big guns.

I've got my eye on the Dylan Maples Lucas DeDora match up. Lucas ha been charging, but getting injured during the season.

This should be treated with a grain of salt. Poland is a country full of envy, there are lots of people wishing all the worst to others... This track is 100% not finished yet. The slope has a lots of potential, properly steep and techy.

I don’t think Gwin is well enough to race yet going off what he has said in recent podcasts.

Yeah barely had ride time on his new rig. And still getting that stiffness in the arm, potential nerve issues as well I'd assume. He didn't really mention it but that kind of surgery plus DH is always rough. I did my elbow in and got bolted together. Every now again if I have to do a press up my arm just turns off. I survive cuz I'm not racing DH but I'd hate to do that in a rock garden at race pace.

Course preview from the Tennessee National DH track with Nasty Nik from today.

The track looks dry right now, but it's supposed to rain a decent amount Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Should make for an exciting race day on Saturday.

Fun course, but its more enduro than DH. Singlecrown padally bike for the win.

Good insight! Recon you’ll be qualifying in the top 20?

Absoluteley! Track doesn't look anywhere near finished and detailed but there is big potential and spectacle. Glad they started shaping early so the berms won't get totally fucked after the juniors practice already.

Section in the forest looks potentially steep with quite some line choices.

Looking forward to it.

O yea, remember last year, everyone hating Loudenvielle? It probably was the best Track in 2023.

The woods will have the Leogang vibe in the wet though, if you know what I mean, so it's better not wet on a race day Smile I remember riding this before they started building this track and this was a time I decided to buy a 38mm fork Smile Literally my Lyrik could not handle braking and the 65ha was definitely too steep for it.

I happen to live in the area, so if anyone is coming and needs some trails advice (and at least 50% are not "official") can hit me on priv.

Dak must have had an issue. He won the race in South America on the Draker and No way he’s 20 seconds off the podium at his home track.

Doesn’t even seem right to have Asa race with the juniors this year. I’ve heard there is another junior who is suppose to give him a run for his money this year, but it is kind of hard to believe. It is insane how fast he is for how young he is.

Did you watch the Rotorua DH? If not you should.

16yo Tyler Waite on the new Yeti DH bike had some insane speed, Chris Hauser is still right up there as well.

2024 Jr WC DH racing should be pretty damn good! The kids are fast.
