Schedule
Fantasy should open mid-day Weds PST. Anyone else hoping Dak is on the top of the box looking down on 2nd-5th place French riders? : )
Hoping SO MUCH to see Dak on the top step!
Dak or Luca & I'd be stoked.
Maybe a tie down to the 100th.
I'd love to see Dak get a win, he's done so many hard yards to get to this point, but man he's gonna have to really bring some speed.
Les Gets, the French riders always step it up a notch, so my money's on Amaury.
Entry list (not actual quali start list) is in, so the final number below may vary a bit, but big turnout.
183 Elite Men
46 Elite Women
122 Junior Men
23 Junior Women
still early, but saturday's weather looking wet.
Biggest achievement in downhill racing over the last 5 years. Great to see.
Could make for an interesting race, especially if they don't get to practise in those conditions.
Wow, that's a lot of junior men. Not a fan of reducing the field but almost 400 people on a loamy, muddy track is a lot. If you are fighting for 100th place in junior, you should maybe not race a World Cup. The point system doesn't work well. Not sure which races are eligible but it looks pretty tough from North America but it's probably not competitive enough for European-based athletes.
looking at the entry list prepping for fantasy, there are 17 junior men and only 1 junior woman who haven't yet raced a WC this year. a good handful from south africa. sven mentioned worlds team riders probably getting up and into europe to get their feet wet, but even without these new riders, still over 100 junior men which is a lot!
bernard pit setup
wet grass LFG!!!
cant wait to spend hours on my fantasy team only to score average and make no progress overall!!
You're 500 random people better than me at it if that's any consolation.
pit bits vid with some really interesting stuff
its raining enough to spice things up at the moment.... the ground is soo saturated that cannot be more different than last years race.. that and the track changes ; )

Bear in mind the UCI still has not submitted the official qualifying start list which we usually build from. the Les Gets game is opened with the "Entry" list. some of the riders you can choose may not be racing and there could be riders missing from the list. when the start list is made available, we'll add/delete accordingly. if you don't pick a team until closer to the race (after qualis/semis), none of this will matter : )
a Lyrik is up for grabs this week!
the track (at least in that video) looks way rowdier than previous years. stoked for raw today!
Why do you think the second berm was skipped? My tin foil hat says they are doing everything to keep runs under 3 minutes which is a bummer.
No Laurie for the Syndicate as his health issues persist. Is Nina recovered yet?
Anyone else missing?
From Lalyche TV it looked awful anyway. But I wonder why they changed the section before Wilson's jump.
timed training top 15's
quali start lists were sent out this morning finally. fantasy has been updated. all riders in the race were already in there, but if a racer was not on the quali start list, they've been marked as "out" which has a medical flag. doesn't necessarily mean they're hurt, but they aren't racing, so def someone you don't want to pick : )
