Yep - her latest post has an update - broken shoulder. Also on her story there's something about Emilie Siegenthaler getting "heat by the Swiss cycling team".. Wonder what that's about?

The deal is the much higher selection criterias set by the Swiss Federation for DH compared to XC, also their lack of support generally for DH. Props to her and others CH riders who are raising some alerts.
One of the good fact related in her IG compared the number of DH rider of Canada and Switzerland...Crazy...

how was the broadcast/commentary on Flosports last year? I spent a couple hours trying to do the VPN thing on my work machine and never got it to work. I think a replay popped up on youtube or something that bailed me out but I don't even feel like dealing with the hassle this year. of course Flosports doesn't seem to have pricing anywhere on their website without registering...ominous sign.
For those struggling with the VPN.
Easiest way to do it is on your phone or tablet. Download a VPN app you haven’t used before (if you want the 1-2week free trial, and you get completely free viewing).
If you have an AppleTV and an apple product you can airplay. Google peeps can usually connect to a smart tv depending how your house is setup.
Go to the VPN and select a non restricted country. Now the crucial part for RedbullTV. Go to the location setting, this is easiest on their website as it usually prompts your location, and select the non restricted country you chose in the vpn. If you don’t do that, redbull still thinks you’re in your home country. Just set mine up again for this year and it took all of 5 minutes.
You’ll know it worked if you go to the redbull schedule and it gives you a countdown timer instead of the geo block.
We have a flo subscription at the bike shop, and still use vpn for worlds. Flo coverage and commentary is trash compared to Rob.

is anyone else still terrified just by watching the off-camber at the end of the track? so insane how fast they're going. hopefully wetness doesn't impact it
In case anyone wants to whet their appetite for this year, or hasn't even seen the 2021 race, here's last year's men's Elite World Champ race. It's the Red Bull coverage, not Flo Bike's.
holy shit that footage is wild, I don't know how they can process so much when going through the wooded sections! Trees that will stop you dead, roots the diameter of your arm and off camber AF covered in moon dust. These dudes are built different!
I just hope for a fair run for all, it's looking like thunderstorms and I'd hate for it to start raining with half the riders to come.

More terrified that there is a camera platform there, wet or dry.. And hope no one impacts that.
