Pretty sure Mark has a free agent type deal with SC, so running all personal sponsors I believe. If SC are going heavy in EDR as claimed, can only see them being on similar bits to the syndicate, but I could be wrong.

Continental Atherton, Nukeproof? Can't see her going to Trek with the roster they already have, but possible.
With that roster of sponsors, it'd have to be a new team, or her own program. Assuming RockShox Trek racing, and Trek Factory aren't changing a bunch of their sponsors/kit

Hey, thought I’d clear up the fair question you asked here! I’m not into racing enduro anymore or heavily focusing on being competitive and haven’t been for a couple years now. I’ve been racing since I was 11 years old and I got tired of it. I’m enjoying competing now and then In different events but focusing on travelling to cool locations and filming & riding with new people and friends and sharing my experiences and working alongside my sponsors. Change has been good and I’ve found my feet doing this. Cheers
Lew
Just wanted to drop in and say that I think that you're doing it right. Doing what you love is always going to be the right choice! Good on you mate, I mean it. Keep it up!

One of the sponsors from the jersey, not all of them.
My guess would be that the commencal/100% team drops the 100%, keeps commencal and has a new title sponsor. Conti/commencal would make sense.
Estaque, frix frix, and Mille. Maybe one other rider. Basically the same team as last year with a new title/co-title sponsor. Can’t see estaque and frixalton not being on commencal frames, and mille was with estaque training when she got hurt recently. Makes the most sense to me.

Sven Garcia an acronym of Craig evans, along with one of his latest posts and someone else mentioning seeing him on a prototype slacker, basically confirms Craig on airdrop
long time lurker and reader of this my favourite thread!! Just watched Bernards latest LSD and he may or may not have confirmed Jack Moir is on YT with a throw away comment about Jack being in Guildford in the UK which happens to have the UK's YT showroom
Rob Roskop on the PB podcast. Haven't listened yet but should be interesting!
For those who don’t want to listen.
looks like pon had no interest in renewing his contract which likely had some type of royalty clause. He also seemed to be interested in pursuing innovations while pon is happy to milk the existing formula for all it’s worth (prob not a bad decision on their behalf tbh)
rob wouldn’t divulge details but it appears he is working on some new Emtb tech designed to be 40ish pounds but still be full power for 5-6 hrs. Basically a full power e-bike somewhere i between the current lightweight and full size Emtb in weight. Looks like possible collaboration with Unno but again rob was very shy to be detailed about anything.
seemed to think if all goes well we will be hearing about in a couple years.

On the Roskopp podcast...not exactly Team Rumours, but one could argue he's talking about starting up a new "Team" in the form of a company, so I'm going to go with it.
It was interesting that he compared his contract with Pon/Santa Cruz Bicycles to his contract with Santa Cruz Skateboards. Of course he should get money for a skateboard with his graphic/name on it. But who here even knew he was still attached to the bike brand? And in what capacity? You sold your company, my man! You already got paid! Seems weird you would expect more out of it, or be surprised that they were moving on. Especially when he talked so much about "moving on to the next thing" himself.
It was also interesting how they spoke about rejecting his innovation. I wish he had been able to give an example or two, because it's not a given that they were good ideas. Maybe he was in there suggesting they innovate a new e-gravel bike or something? We only got one side of that story.
As for his new company, I know he talked about 40 pound full power e-bikes, but it didn't sound like that was what he was going to develop. It felt like two separate subjects that he was talking about.
Either way, I didn't come away from that podcast feeling all that sorry for the man.

Roskop will always be inseparable from Santa Cruz for a certain generation of fan. Him no longer associated with them makes them way less cool. I’d rather a small portion of my money go to rob than all of it go to some ultra wealthy European family who’s sitting on money from colonizing the world.
my first really nice bike was a Santa Cruz. I saved up a lot of money (especially for me at the time) to get it basically cause I was a syndicate fanboy.
id rather get a Cannondale these days. Bikes are cooler and they got a lot of riders from rat to max that I want to follow. Sure the syndicate is more talented than ever but i literally cannot be bothered to watch the content they are putting out. Maybe robs value for the company is missed more than you realize and it will simply take a few product cycles for pons lack of innovation and vision to catch up with them. They got a lot of market share to lose these days.

So true.
a bit like when max commencal left Sunn. They lost all their coolness. Which has mow nicely been reborn with Commencal.
100% agree with the syndicate content. Cringe worthy.I Love the riders, they are awesome and super talented, but these videos are not serving them well… Crap job from the producing company.

My guess would be Trek. She’s part of the gang in North Wales that includes Kade Edwards. Charlie Harrison retired leaving a gap and it’s pretty rubbish that one of the world biggest bike brands doesn’t have a female rider on its roster (also looking at you Specialized)

As someone whose fairly small company just got acquired by a big one, I can tell you that previous owners and leadership who were involved from day 1 have a very difficult time suddenly reporting to someone, especially a corporation. They lose control that they probably didn't even consciously consider that they had before they sold out.
The obvious response is "what'd you expect...", but with all the corporate promises they were likely fed beforehand there'll pretty likely be some bitterness there. If it's been 6 years, it's pretty impressive that it took this long.
Roskop will always be inseparable from Santa Cruz for a certain generation of fan. Him no longer associated with them makes them way less cool. I’d...

Yep, one of their "free agents"

I know it's been hinted at, but looks like Craig Evans is definitely off SC^
He's on Airdrop, been seen riding them recently. His latest post he's on their Slacker.

Very true. But I was mostly commenting on my change in perception in the brands over the last 5 years.
Is Vali Holl not female?
