If you see what the pro's do with their bikes the "classification" of their bikes on the website is pretty ridiculous. But it's pretty much the same with other (German) manufacturer.
E.g. with their 150 mm Stereo (I still see it as an enduro bike) you may jump 0.5 m from time to time. (The German version is not even clear what that 0.5 m means - just "jumps". In English they use the word "drop".) You must not loose contact with the ground with one wheel. So no manual and no heavy breaking.
With the 170 mm Stereo you may even jump up to 1 m from time to time. And sometimes you may ride at a park.
With these conditions you would never get any warranty replacement if you ride even only half as hard as an enduro bike should be ridden. And the Cube frames are pretty light.
Well, now seeing Loris in that 100% kit, which seems to be a given for the Trek Factory Team, it seems very less likely for him to be joined by Vali, who has confirmed Oakley and Troy Lee Designs as her sponsors for the future too. Will she go to Specialized? If so, does that jell with the kit of the other riders or is that even an issue?
What if Vali pulls a super surprise and goes to the Syndicate, a team which is much more open when it comes to riders having different personal sponsors? Hm!

Same thought with the other option is she stays on the SRAM Team and gets trek as a frame / Co - Sponsor

I think she said she feels very well in the sram/Troy lee program so I think you could be right! Though it would be amazing to see her in the syndicate! Team Mom Kathy Sessler would love that so much!

As I said before. She would not have to change sponsors if she goes to Canyon. Basically just a new frame.
Do you have proof of this? Would love to know if that’s true. Same for how many frames other pro’s break in a season. Yes, I...

Didn’t mean to call you a liar. Just was curious to know how you knew.
A lot of people in here and in the tech rumors tread more than they say. Even more people like that are lurking. And spilling the beans right when you hear it is a sure fire way to be cut off from the bean supply
Specialized was on Fox last year for eyewear and clothing. So either the team changed to match Vali, she is going somewhere besides specialized or staying put with a new frame sponsor.
Very curious about Giant for 2021. With Marcelo already gone and Eliot now off the team as well, are they supporting any factory DH riders besides...
Very curious about Giant for 2021. With Marcelo already gone and Eliot now off the team as well, are they supporting any factory DH riders besides Jacob Dickson? Doesn't seem like there are many " _____ to Giant" rumors out there... Perhaps they're concentrating more on their road sponsorships (or on national/regional level athletes)?
It's strange that they don't even have much of a presence in XCO, an Olympic event in an Olympic year hosted by next-door neighbors Japan.
Especially considering they went "all in" on XC a few years ago (which is why they switched to fox/shimano on the factory teams after having the SICK DVO stuff
Isn't Vali Holl still on the SRAM-TLD program, or did that end too? I figured she was just moving frame sponsors and keeping everything else consistent. She could be on board a Session but not part of TFR if that were the case.

Eyewear? I could swear Loic was always wearing 100% goggles.

This is my assumption when talking with people close to Trek.

that's exactly my prediction regarding vali höll. reminder luca shaw was on the sram/TLD team prior to the syndicate and was riding Santa Cruz frames and lucas cruz also was on the sram/TLD team a few years ago riding Trek frames.

As recent as 2019, SRAM TLD Racing had a rider who had Trek as a frame sponsor (Lucas Cruz).
I really hope the program marches on in 2021, with Vali as the centerpiece of the team.
