But yeah, different position of the fork bumper on the current one and no kink in the top tube, it goes straight down from the headset, perpendicularly to the steerer.

I wouldn't dare comment on the mulletness from this picture though...

Canyon is a sophisticated enough brand that these pics are almost certainly vetted by multiple folks before they go out. It doesn't mean they don't mess up tho...

The bike could be angled in regards to the camera making one wheel larger.

Not saying it's not mullet, I'd just reserve my judgment until more info is provided.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t get whole “Jared Graves watch 2020.” The dude is legit fast and talented, but I find myself unable to root for him and Richie due to the lack of an explanation for their failed tests. While Maes’ situation was likely different, I thought he handled the situation admirably.
At the risk of this devolving into another Graves/Rude doping thread, here's a bit of info straight from the source. Easy to miss as it was given in the PB comment section rather then an official statement, but I imagine that may be forthcoming with further announcements of his plan. More here: https://www.pinkbike.com/u/jaredgraves/

'Ok,I'll try and clear a few things up, NO BS, just facts, hope it can help. The supplemnet in question in this case is BPM labs "the one" which if you want to look it up. Now states Higenamine in the ingredients list, but in older versions, and in the tub in this case was listed as Nandina Domestica (fruit extract) and the oxilofrine component is still labelled as Synephrine HCL. Things get tricky when you type these ingredients into the WADA search and not a single result comes up, which tells you everything is OK. So we had to dive a bit deeper into finding out how these things got in our systems, and when we did, we found of that many ingredients have many different variations, and names, which is what has caught us out. We also found out since learning the hard way, just how prevalent these ingredients are in off the shelf pre workout drinks, which is a bit scary when you first hand find out the consequences, and how unregulated products with these ingredients are. Even a teenager could walk in to a supplement store and buy this, no questions asked. I've also since learned that 1 in 5 off the shelf pre workout drinks (in Australia at least) have something banned in them. Everything i've mentioned above had to be proven beyond doubt to the AFLD (french anti doping) theres no corruption, or loopholes, or lawyers spin put on it. Just facts and real consequences. So i'll put my hand up all day long and say im guilty of negligence. MY mindset was that I'v never sought anything performance enhancing, and Ive never had an issues with the Dozens and Dozens of in and out of competition doping tests ive had, so all will be good. I git a bit too relaxed with the whole process, I never thought there was any chance I could ever be in this situation, yet here we are. A moment of Negligence yes, premeditated cheaters, hell NO!!!! Maybe ask yourself, would you ever think you need to do extensive study and research, on every ingredient of every thing you ever put in your body? Combine that with what I said above, and hopefully you get a clearer picture of how this very unfortunate situation has come to be. Possibly the main reason i'm writing this is the amount of uneducated and downright false comments here. Some of you really should be a bit more careful with your wild assumptions and accusations. There are real people on the other side of this. Its obvious that many just want to be hateful and drag people down, and that's pretty sad. When road cycling and in Particular Lance Armstrongs name gets thrown in the ring, WOW, are you serious??? Consider the things iv'e mentioned, and maybe think again. People all seem to think theres some kind of Magic pill out there, that will take them from weekend warrior to world class level podium guy. Nobody stops to think that maybe the 25+ hours a week spent training, in the gym, on the bike, not going out with your friends, 5am starts, the constant crahses, injuries and sacrifices, has a bit more to do with it. The work that goes in is simply incomprehendable to most, and it's what makes the difference. Everyone who trains and competes at that level understands that, Which I would say is the main reason no other pros have spoken up about this. Mistakes were made, and we're both paying the biggest price for that. It's added more stress to my life, on an already extremely stressful time. So maybe take the time to consider both sides of the equation before spreading some uneducated hate, and misinformation.

What do you think they were testing yaw angles in the wind tunnel too?
It’s a mullet.

Try looking at Tahnee's insta where she has a recent video of her doing a suicide no-hander. It seems to be the same frame as the one used on the windtunnel test. The wheels on that vid look like the same size to me. And it does look like there is a shiny new aluminum linkage being tested in Llangynog.

Or it could well be that FMD is testing both the mullet and full 29er setups (as they should) and then decide in the coming weeks which one Tahnee will race on for the season.

This is a wild shot but I’ll shoot it. I followed the spesh team closely on Instagram as I’m sure a lot others did. One thing I did notice was around the time these event would have taken place, one of the riders in the circle made a pretty incognito switch from their previous supplement provider to rynopower. Graves and Rude already being Rynopower athletes amongst others. I wonder if said rider made the switch after these events unfolded. Rynopower has been pretty adamant that their stuff is clean and I’m no way could have come from them. Said rider is also not racing ews anymore or at least full time and took a different role with their bike brand.

Regarding the links, I was going off the pictures and links in this thread. I'm off Instagram for the past two years and loving it, so don't follow those profiles and latest developments.

Given the Tahnee picture, given the top tube angle, the same linkage isn't really possible since the shock will have to be mounted lower in the frame. Going off that one photo.

Why would they? Could it be that the photographer wasn't perpendicular to Tahnee AND the wind tunnel? Considering you can see both fork sliders in the picture with the one further from the camera appearing to the left of the one closer. Indicating the photographer was standing closer to the front axle (forwards of the steerer tube) than the rear axle. You then don't know how high or low he was, etc.

Taking measurements from pictures is a great way to make wrong assumptions.

And once again, I'm not saying it's not a mullet. And I'm not saying it is. I'm saying do t jump to conclusions from one photo where you can see only 2 cm of the rear tyre and don't know the position and orientation of the camera. Besides the above point, the horizon could be off a bit too with the camera rotated counter clockwise around the axis through the lens. That would expose more of the front and less of the rear wheel.

This is just part of what canyon can do for team tannee. Maybe it’ll help her go faster, who knows. But 100% mullet!

Semi slick and a mullet that’s Bruni in his brushed out Neff wig. I’ve never been so certain of anything in my life.-

My next thought was perhaps he'd go to Devinci to fill Oton's spot?

Italian houses aswell. San Romolo perhaps? Canyon, Madison Saracen, Santacruz and a lot of others are regularly there to get their DH testing going.

I so badly want to get into the ethics of the whole doping scandal thing, but yeah, it really is for a different thread. That said, I do appreciate how Graves handled it compared to Richie. He owned up to it, and he's also done an admirable job showing what his angle was on it. Judge as you will at that point, but at least the facts are out there for you to dive into. The nuance here *really* matters.

Anyway, isn't Graves banned from competition this year to some extent? Or is that up? I honestly don't remember. Isn't it possible he's not been picked up? He's an unreal athlete, and I have an incredible amount of respect for him, but he's also on the older end of the spectrum, and nobody knows where he'll slot in the ever crazy level of competition that is the EWS.

It'd make the most sense to me that a brand would pick him up in a capacity that is similar to Nigel or Jerome. Maybe he can run a team, still race the EWS with less emphasis on results and more on management, product dev., and coaching younger riders.

I have no idea, just guessing. Anyway, best of luck to the most savage of riders out there..

I swear I had no knowledge of this prior to my post...

JARED “GRUBBY” GRAVES RETURNS TO RACING ROOTS WITH YETI CYCLES

(Golden, Colo.) – Yeti Cycles announced today they have signed legendary rider Jared Graves. Graves raced for the Yeti program for over a decade where he won a World Championship in 4X, an Enduro World Series overall title, took a World Championship bronze in DH on a trail bike, and represented Australia in the Olympics as a BMX rider.

“The Yeti crew is like family, so it feels very comfortable to be back,” said Graves. “They’re a small company, focused on product development and committed to making bikes that help racers go faster. Yeti doesn't compromise. It’s only the best and their passion for the sport is unmatched. Those are traits we share.”

Graves’ new role will be as a Yeti ambassador. His race schedule includes select Enduro World Series events and he also has plans to compete in some unexpected races yet to be announced. “I still feel like I have some good racing left in me, and a little bit to prove. After a very difficult year-and-a-half personally, I’m looking forward to racing and working with Yeti again,” Graves said. His new role will also focus on mentoring and coaching the younger Yeti riders.

“We’re stoked to have Jared back in the family,” said Chris Conroy, president of Yeti Cycles. “In my mind, he’s one of the best bike racers of all time. His work ethic and commitment to the sport will set an example for our younger riders. We’re excited to see him riding a Yeti again.”

According to Yeti’s vice president and engineer, Steve Hoogendoorn, “Jared was an integral part of developing Yeti’s early race bikes, including the 303 DH, DJ, 4X, limited edition BMX frame, SB66, and SB6. He’ll contribute immediately to our product development process and we’re happy to have him back.”

About Yeti

Founded in 1985, Yeti Cycles makes race-bred, obsessively engineered, masterfully crafted mountain bikes proven by the fastest riders in the most demanding conditions. Based in Golden, Colorado, Yeti is owned and staffed by riders who are more likely to be out riding the company’s latest creation than sitting in a conference room. Didn't look at it as a joke because roadies actually do that a lot (crosswind and the influence on aero wheels) and racing teams do as well. I think one of the past few Williams F1 cars was okay in a straight line but was horrible when yaw was applied to it.

The point is, yaw is not insignificant in aero...

Tanee doesn’t race on the road. Any time they get too tuck, loegang probably the only feasible place, MSA still very rough doubt a full tuck is holdable. And a lot of the time they should probably be peddling, like Charlie in the last race of last year he lost a spot or two after the container drop because he tucked and didn’t pedal.

My next thought was perhaps he'd go to Devinci to fill Oton's spot?
Greg's been doing a super good job of being quiet this offseason

Blue socks & shoes make it look like Grubby is wearing race sandals. New minimalist weight savings....

Neither does she race in F1. Your point being?

And tuck can be a good strategy in some cases. I flew past people on the gravel roads doing the mehavalanche last year by tucking with others gingerly pedalling.

Cool I’ll remember to tuck this year. Is there any gravel roads on the World Cup DH?
Wind tunnel is a pr stunt. Just like suspension logging for everyone bar one is a head game.
And it still a mullet.
