Back to rumors saw what I believed is the new sram brake?  I know it’s been around a bit but here’s a shot again   If they are as power as TRP and feel like a code leaver I’m sold! IMG 1812

The German importer for Banshee told me to expect something new from them very soon. Apparently one of their models is getting a revision. I bet it's the Titan.

Slightly updated geometry, size-specific chainstay length, UDH compatibility and the ability to run a 27.5" rear wheel would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, let's concentrate on the rumours and celebrate 500 pages of goodness right here. Fantastic work people.

You can run 27.5 rear wheel on Titan no problem as is?

dude pipe down. you are not talking about new tech, or innovation, this dumb, boring rhetoric does not belong on this forum.

Apparently this us AP’s bike (from team rumours thread).

Interesting gold footnut on the fork… non approved internals maybe? Commencal seem to never get their stuff serviced by Fox at the races, so could they be running something sneaky in there? Or have they got Chris Porter working for them behind the scenes Whistling

Or is it just super dusty and is actually nothing at all.

@mcfadden999 and anyone else responding to him, guess what? there's an entire forum where you can start a new topic dedicated to one specific thing and you can develop that topic into the minutia it deserves. no more cascade review crap in this thread.

hooray for babysitting grown adults in 2024!

Could be just mega dust - the back of the nut looks black and there is plenty of dust on the sidewall and around the footnut - probably just freshly serviced.

Er.. yep.. If you look at the shadow from the top of the stanchions it's not from 12'oclock. Looks more like it's coming across from above and behind the photographer. I don't think you'd see as much shadow as you can see on the footnote given the orientation of the bike.

Jeez man - someone having a bad day? Try not to take life so seriously - I merely offered support to an alternative theory, someone else put forward - but hey - its just an alternative view.. If it really bothers you I can ask one of my best friends who is a professional photographer to get his views..

PS - my eyesight was actually checked a few weeks ago and I got the all clear - perfect 20/20 - thanks for asking Smile

Also notice the end of the black thru-axle is the same gold color. It's just dust on both.

The titan has been a mullet since it’s v3.2.

As @JerseyMojo said, most likely freshly serviced.

My experience has been that if you have fox service your parts, you get it back with orange pressure caps, hsc adjuster dials and air spring footnuts fwiw.  related: not worth being a dick about... there are plenty of wheelsize and ebike threads for that.

I only recently discovered Banshee has been quietly,  constantly tweaking all their bikes over the years without even a mention of it.

Love their bikes.

Is unlikely to be a non-pro given the proto tyres on it though, so the spec is interesting regardless. The cranks also look a bit different, but not sure what Amaury has been running before now?

Yep, can’t really figure out what the differences between a v3.0 and v3.2 are, but apparently there are such. Got a v3.0 in my shed, that’s some pretty serious bike tbh, too bad i’m selling it (too big a size for me). As for the rumor, my guess is we’re finally getting a Darkside v2.0 as both trail and enduro options from the brand are modern enough regarding geo and suspension, but the more gravity-oriented models haven’t received an ipdate recently! I'd also say its the Legend, all of their enduro/trail bikes have been updated in the past few years while the Legend has been the same since they introduced the 29" version, which is actually really weird as it only comes in L and XL. There is also a recent podcast with Keith on their YT channel where he talks about history, designing bikes and what makes Banshee such a cool brand. I'm also seriously considering building up a Titan as this year marks 10 years since my first banshee - Rune v2 26", rode it for a couple of years, sold it to a friend who still has it and the 10 years old frame is still perfectly fine, almost sure its still running original bearings as the frame alignment is really amazing - I was blown away when I first took the swingarm off and tried the bearings and every single one rolled perfectly, huge contrast to my previous bikes. One weird thing is that they use different grade material for their lower travel bikes as I replaced the Rune with the Spitfire and then cracked the swingarm every year untill I sold the bike...
