The fact that Gee is part of making a bike that looks the exact same as a Sunday is quality. Id say he had nightmares about Sam on that green Sunday years ago ripping everyone to pieces

If you look just left of the right (our right ) stancion between the crowns you can see where the top tube tube is joined to the front head tube cluster

Gee comented on IG that they will be making affordable bikes that they would be willing to buy themselves.
Nowadays it seems that 3000£ is affordable (read it on any MTB website...), soooo...

After recovering from some pretty extensive injuries (sustained at Loosefest in 2017), it's good to see Remy Morton picking up a fresh ride:

Haythornthwaite claims, unbeknownst to him, Gee tested the 160mm Robot on the hardline course aka beat the shit out of it and it held.

There are far smarter guys working at (formerly) Robot than myself. So it is probably accounted for. But how does this work with the carbon lay-up. If I look at my raw carbon Sender you see many little details in the lay-up. Presumably to get the correct strength AND flex. These tubes look pretty generic? So how do they dial in the flex in the right direction? Is the inside of the tube made up of different layers/directions of fibre?

So when the contract ended with Trek, do you think there was no companies willing to take the whole team on so they started their own brand, or am I just thinking about this too much?

I think the robot stuff started way before the trek team ended. you dont start something like AR in 4 months..

I'd say that's pretty unlikely when you look at what they bring to the party. Racing success, video edits (I'm really hoping Gee will continue doing WC course previews), Hardline, Fox Hunt and a bike park. I would think that's an appealing package for most companies. They've stated that this is the way they want to go. They've given a lot back to this sport and I wish them every success.
