I bought the frame used and pretty beat up so cleaned It up best I could, then touched up the paint then shot it with matte clear coat. I went to work searching for the best parts that would match and was happy to order up all the bronze Deity parts to pull it all together. I used a 160 Lyrik off my Yeti and swapped out the Turquoise decals for copper ones from Fanatik where I also found matching rim decals. Universal Cycles got me going with most of the parts and I’m liking the Schwalbe Magic Mary tires...

Thanks man! Wish I had the $ to put a i9 wheelset, color spokes and all, on it to really recreate what the team bikes looked and sounded like back then.

Something must be wrong with geo numbers. Size medium is supposed to be almost 10 cm shorter - wheelbase than size large but reach difference is only 2,5 cm. Head angle is the same and so is chainstay length. Wheelbase on size large must be somwhere around 1230 mm or something.

Hi Victor, I didn't do the AP on this bike .. but I did do the TP on it. The artwork is all about races, rides and places i've been for the last decade on Santa Cruz. hope that helps clear it up. cheers g

Agreed, the low slung shock and shapes are very similar to the banshee, as is that big upper link, but it's not actually a dual link design like the banshee, which is one of my favourite looking DH rigs. It's technically more like the Sender with the moto link as @qblambda said. I wasn't really a fan of the Demo under Gwin or Brosnan but the way it was working under Bruni the last two seasons with the Ohlins changed my mind, I hope they manage to get this new design as dialed as the last one was.
