Polygon had a few big pieces of news to share with us. First, they will now be available in North America through the newly established Polygon US division. Second, two of the bikes we've seen previously as prototypes will be ready for the public starting this May.
The bike shown here is the Collosus N9. Designed for all-mountain and enduro use, it features 160mm of travel. The full carbon monocoque frame is highlighted by Enduro Max pivot bearings, internal routing, tapered headtube, 431mm chainstays, 66.3-degree head angle, 142x12mm rear axle, and a reinforced BB with ISCG05 tabs and 10mm rise.
Spec highlights include:
- 27.5” e*13 TR5 carbon race wheels
- Sram XX1 1x11 drivetrain
- Shimano XT brakeset
- Custom valved Fox Float X CTD with trail adjust and Kashima coat
- Fox Talas 34 CTD remote and Kashima coat
- Spank Oozy cockpit
- Rockshox Reverb Stealth dropper seat post
- Fizik Gobi XM saddle
MSRP is $5,799. Polygon bikes are available on-line and at select retailers. Watch for Mik Hannah, Jamie Nicoll and the Hutchinson UR Team on this bike during the 2014 Enduro World Series.
