When I switched to Haro, we ran bikes that were built by Intense. They weren't exact M1 frames, but were close. They ran the M1 rear end and what seemed to be a portion of the monocoque M1 front triangle, but with an adjustable seat mast like the UZZI DH. I liked the more active suspension and felt I could push it harder on the rougher tracks. I don’t remember wishing to be on any other kind of bike. I recall Haro, at the time, wanting to build a single pivot bike, but I was very happy on the bike we were on. If I had stayed on Haro for another year, I recall wanting to ride a more updated version of the bike. Our geometry wasn’t the same as the M1. They had a steeper head angle and higher bb, I wanted to get on what the Intense boys were on. My bars had grown slightly by then, too, which seemed normal for the time. - Greg Minnaar
