Our keen detectives spotted something new hiding under the Nukeproof/CRC tent - they're not quite sure what's changed, although a move to metric shock sizing would be a good bet given the presence of a Super Deluxe (the current version of the Mega does not use metric shock sizing). There's something suspiciously carbon-like about the frame too... Here's what Nukeproof had to say when confronted with the damning evidence:

Nukeproof are always looking at ways to push our technology forwards. The Nukeproof Mega is a proven winner at the highest level with Sam Hill and the CRC-Mavic team. His performance last year on a stock Mega was nothing short of outstanding. With Sam's full time focus on the Enduro World Series we wanted to look at elevating our product again. We have worked closely with Sam and the team at the end of last year looking at all areas and how we could make improvements to an already winning design and give him the best equipment to compete in this year's EWS. With technology always moving forwards we have working closely with our industry partners (SRAM/ Rockshox) and have managed to produce something we are proud off. We have been testing developments and prototypes of the frames in private for a while now.... .......But testing is not racing. We wanted to ensure that our bikes can compete and work at speed and under the pressure of a race week, being pushed to the limit and beyond as part of the development in order to produce the quality of product that is right for our customers and riders.
