As someone who was millimeters from dying because of snapped steerer tube during a ride I will be giving this product a pass.

got an email from oneup for early purchase since I've signed up. Gave up when I realized I need to buy tool $59, stem cap $25 and tap $35 so a $119 multitool that doesn't even have a inflator head... no thank you! Will continue to use a strap on my frame!

Man I was just thinking: I really need some stress risers on the inside of my steerer tube right at my stem. Those threads are just the ticket!

I will just cut and paste a comment I literally just wrote on Pinkbike: "BIKE: bobbing and weaving and whippin and generally floating around as light as can be.....RIDER: trying to be as smooth and fluid and efficient as possible (not moving nearly as much)......which makes the most sense to attach a bunch of weight to? Hint: refer to laws of physics.

All this hype and you need an expensive tap and likely a voided fork warranty to even use it. Annddd if your HS comes loose on a ride...

I'd void the warranty and risk complete fork failure to not have anything look like it is attached to my bike. This is an awesome innovation. How much to buy one? What is used to thread the steerer?
