Due to some slight delays Zerode was unable to bring their latest and greatest model for us to look at. However, we did get the run down on what to expect. By varying the wall thicknesses in key areas and anodizing instead of painting the frame, they've removed 1.5 pounds from the 2013 G-1. Another minor change is that the lower shock protector will be made from polycarbonite instead of carbon with no weight penalty. Frames are now shipping with Cane Creek Double Barrel shocks for $3499.
Trail bike wise, they're still in development and will be using carbon fiber. Chances are probable that if the trail bike is successful, you just might see a carbon DH version.
