Tan Wall Vans Gum Rubber! Iconic Look!

The Good
Vans tan waffle sole grip. Major nostalgia.
The Bad
Nothing noticeable. They're a grip. They grip. With gloves on they feel normal
Overall Review:

No hyper aggressive ridges or nubs on the palm side. The finger side pattern has a little more bite for pulling up on the bars so fingers don't slip on a hard tug.
Not skinny. Not as medium thick as most mediums though.  Look dead sexy on the bike.

Not bad but not good either

Feels beefy and great holding onto them.
Not wearing out fast.
The Bad
What i dont like is that when i ride with them and my palms get little sweat they are slippery af, maybe problem is in me, i sweat alot but that slipping on them hella sucks
Overall Review:

They look good and feel good in hand when palms are dry but when they get little bit wet it sucks.

Great Medium to thicker thickness ODI option

-Thicker than ODI Ruffian
-Slightly thinner than ODI Yeti's
-Just the right amount of squishy but firm
-Waffle pattern is great for fingers too
-Vans steez

Overall Review:

Was running Lizard Skin lock ons for years that were about the same as the current North Shore. Love them until the rubber would go bad (got sticky like candy). The shop I went in to replace those had these and they felt on the thicker side of lock ons (like slightly thicker grips). Do really dig how the waffle pattern lets your fingers register where they are on the bar.

And of course just like any ODI lock ons they super solid.

There should be a way to change the thumbnail & main pic to the tan walls.  Zero reason to have Vans grips & not have the tan.  Mine look so whorish on my DH bike in tan...and I love it!!!
