A sunset shot of the 2001 M1 production bike. This was the same bike prototyped and raced during the 2000 season by Chris Kovarik and Michael Ronning. The M1 will always be known as the most popular DH bike in sport during its growth period. During this era, many bike brands did not have a downhill frame in their lineup, yet had downhill teams.
