Slytech is a brand with a good history in the snow market. They opened up six years ago and have been developing protection products ever since. They recently brought on Kelly McGarry and Ryan Nyquist to develop mountain bike and bmx protection items. Their protection apparel uses what they call a “Second Skin” multi-impact material which absorbs shock and distributes forces more evenly to deaden a blow. They have various protection items available including body armor, knee pads, hard-shell knee pads, elbow pads, spine protection with a hydration pack, spine protection without a hydration pack, vests, shorts, backpacks, and more.
