Bell showed us their updated Super 3 and Super 3R helmets. Addressing a few pressure point issues, specifically the pressure point just above the temples that some people complained about on the previous Super, the new Super and Super 3R are said to offer a better fit as well as improved ventilation. In addition, they are now also being equipped with MIPS. The new lids will be available October 1st, and retail for $155 for the Super 3 and $230 for the 3R. If you purchase a Super 3 and sometime later down the road you decide you’d like the chin bar featured on the 3R, you can purchase it separately from Bell for $75.
