Description
Suspension performance plays a major role in how a bike rides. Set it up wrong or neglect to service it regularly and chances are pretty good that you'll be bouncing down the trail, out of control. Set it up properly and you'll be in bump absorbing heaven, grabbing every bit of available traction, blitzing through rock sections, blasting jumps, sending drops, and loving your ride.



Unknown to many riders, RockShox products offer the ability to tweak and tune many settings, including the air spring. In this feature we look at how to improve your suspension to better suit your riding style and terrain using air volume spacers, also known as Bottomless Tokens and Rings. The concepts we discuss apply to almost the entire range of air sprung RockShox products.



One of the beautiful things about modern suspension is just how easily tunable it really is. Don't feel afraid to grab a wrench, install a few Tokens or Rings and see how things feel. You may be surprised how much your ride improves.
