Welcome to the new Juliana range of women's-specific mountain bikes! During Juli Furtado's racing career, she was fortunate enough to ride custom bikes designed for her. When she looked around the industry she realized other women didn’t have the same opportunity, and decided that you shouldn’t have to be a pro cyclist to get a women’s fit.
In 1999, she launched the first ever women-specific mountain bike with the help of her friends at Santa Cruz Bicycles. They called it the Juliana. Today, it has evolved into four brand new models and a total of nine bikes.
From custom designed grips, bars, and saddles, to dedicated frame sizes and colors... Juli is proud to still be developing mountain bikes that serve women of all levels, wherever they ride. All of the bikes feature a lifetime crash replacement and pivot bearing warranty, as well as a 5-year frame warranty for the original owner.
Shown here is the premier model in the Juliana lineup, the Furtado Primero. Designed to reign over steep and fast terrain, Furtado is the Monarch of the Mountain.
Using the latest in Virtual Pivot Point suspension technology, Furtado also adopts the new 27.5” wheel standard to create a snappy, agile ride that descends with ease and defines a whole new era for trail bikes.
Climbing with the efficiency of an XC bike, yet with more love on the rocks than Elizabeth Taylor, this bike marries a unique geometry, spec and design not found anywhere else in the women’s bike industry.
