Known to many as "Queen Juli," Juli Furtado began her cycling career with a bang when she won the inaugural Mountain Bike World Championships in Durango, Colorado in 1991. Over the next 6 years she went on to win 5 National Championships, 3 World Cup titles and another World Championship.
