I mentioned this a while back, page 40 maybe, and my comment was missed / ignored by most. Which was fair enough as it was simply based on Brook liking a bunch of their instagram posts. Even I thought that was a bit tenuous.
So I'll be a little surprised if he signs with Forbidden, but maybe a little less than others. IF he signs with them - but him and Fearon would make a very cool DH team.
Super-nought happening.
I don't actually know, that was just the only time I was going to get to make that joke. It would be sick to see Brook on a forbidden.

Totally agree, brook and fearon together would be such a cool combo
Tristan liemere left transition factory racing at the end of last season, doing his own thing this year. That means theres an empty spot on the team, jon mozell to transition factory racing?

hey dude you wanna go ride the pump track this afternoon?
yeah lemme just weld up a DJ bike real quick see you at 2...
Tangent from team rumors, but SOON I imagine you'll just order a frame kit made of carbon tubes off mcmaster-carr, and the cost of 3D printing will be so low that you can get all the lugs sintered for like $100 (https://all3dp.com/1/cold-metal-fusion-3d-printing-simply-explained/) and then you just glue your frame together.
While this will be a super rad future, there will also be lots of broken frames (and bones)
Only question left is whether Farina sticks with MS or moves to Mondraker factory team??
Erm, you seem to be very sure on this, but let me ask you quick: based upon... what? It's an honest question. Most of us interpret what riders do or say, in order to try to understand where they are heading. I am curious what the base is to the ”Dak to Mondraker” rumor is, considering that he suggested that there will be no major changes for him. Whereas a change of frame is a huge change. Or maybe you have some inside knowledge that we obviously lack and you know this for a fact, but can't talk about it. I am looking at the people who liked your comment and I consider this could be a thing too. Just for the record: I am interested in the mechanics of the rumor, how it came to life, not trying to argue with like minded DH racing fans; we are all in here because we love this.

The bike world’s lust for 3d printing is hilarious to me.

Dak seems pretty tight with his mechanic who was not listed in that Mondraker announcement, which makes me lean towards him not ending up there. My guess is he ends up with Gwin, but I don't have any good guesses on what the frame supplier would be.
Who has seen the Windrock course preview on their IG site from 2 days ago. Who's voice is that? Somebody with 100% gloves on. Sounds like Dak. The top tube has a sticker of a Yeti , but when you look at the headtube of the bike you see the Big S. Looks like brake TRP levers and a Fox fork. RENTHAL handle and stem.

That was Jordan Bouldin...Works at Windrock and I believe is a coach with Gravity Academy.

There actually was an engineer from Specialized involved with the suspension development and general testing for Frameworks. But I was under the impression the engineer was a mate of Neko's who did this more or less in his spare time, not in any official consulting capacity.
Similar to how Dan Roberts, who officially works for RAAW, helped Neko develop the carbon lay-up for the rear triangle. Or Cy Turner, founder and owner of Cotic, who developed a steel version of the front triangle, back when Neko hadn't quite figured out yet how to make the aluminium frames sufficiently strong and durable.
Frameworks was running reserve rims in 2022 and part of 2023. They helped out with testing and development of the alloy hd rims as can be seen in this video and Kiran Mackinnon is responsible for all SC/reserve mtb testing for product development.

Brook just signed for another year w/ Redbull

I’m sure they could, but that would cost money that could go elsewhere if Specialized will give them some

Nope. Not confirming anything other than none of his stories are on his new ride. All are on his old GT bikes
I believe neko said the spesh suspension designer guy offered & gave him hour(s) of advice over video chat (poss directly after meeting at a race?)
Eddie with the comedy as always
Frameworks news release says Specialized will supply them with E-Bikes and DJ bikes.

all correct.
Yeah just finished watching a video of Dakota talking and that is not his voice on the course preview.
Rental stem.
Definitely doesn’t own it
Good eye
Dad, is there at least a date that can be shared for Ryan’s new team launch?
I think Mark Wallace signs with Forbidden and Brook signs with Mondraker’s recently announced factory team

Dak to MS Intense
Gwin to Mondraker and becoming the U.S. distributer.

Thank you for the minute chapter content breakdown-huge value.
UK flavor team news today, Privateer will be supporting local enduro ripper Christo Gallagher.
I believe in the next couple weeks, before Feb 1 for sure.
Brayton to GT?
