My next Pick for sure would be the Iron horse sunday, closely followed by the Zerode and ...
The YETI 303 DH which Sam Blenkinsop rode to his first WC win in Schladming in 2008
I had both of those bikes!!! Of the DH bikes I ever owned, the DHi was special: light, super quiet, and very efficient.
Of bikes past, the Sunday is a bike I regret not owning. Of bikes present, the M16C is top of the list purely on the basis of aesthetics.
best bike ever
riding it since 2006 (with own made -2 degree headset that was the first in the world)
replaced it with a DW DHR in 2013, and got back to it in 2014
And my all time favourite
Yeti DH 6

Yeti DH 6
For a couple of years there was a used one of these floating around Santa Cruz that had been ridden by Urgen Beneke? I'm sorry if the spelling is off, I almost got ahold of the thing. I have no idea how he was associated with the Santa Cruz area.
My Yeti DH9 back in 2003. Best DH bike I've ever owned by far and way ahead of it's time. Who else was running a super long toptube with a 63 degree head angle back then?
Seem to be a lot of Yetis on here. Maybe they should take note and release a new bike instead of teasing us with prototypes.

Our team had those but the white ones, great bikes with the moto-linkage but we broke about 10 of them. All right where the seat tube meets the upper shock mount gusset. The blue ones MAY of been the following year and had the area beefed up?
Dear god there are some fugly bikes in this thread. I'm sure they ride like gangbusters but holy cow I'd paper bag most of these uggos before I mount up.
The Incredible Lahar M9, the first full carbon world champs winning bike back in 2006. Still racing and loving it! Coming up 10 years old. Truly was, and still could be well before it's time.
Not the latest and greatest, not your current bike (well, it can be). What's the raddest DH bike ever made, in your opinion?

Here's mine: 2007 Turner DHR
That DHR, to me, was a total game changer. Aggressive angles, mega low bb, light (for the time) and pedaled really well. I know my current DH bike is "faster," lighter and more capable... but that DHR was just soooo sick.
Honorable mentions:
Honda RN01
Lahar
Pretty ugly, both in looks and what the owner of the "brand" did to his customers, but at the time this thing was all sorts of techy and fancy.
Great choices! Brooklyn and Zerode could easily join that list, maybe not as exclusive though.

The 99 kona stab deelux(even though i bought it in 05) was so amazing to me. It just was so good. I never thought anything could be better
not mine but its nice and its for sale! i think i might have to buy it
I pretty much couldn't stop staring at the 951 after it came out
And after owning a DHR I've wanted a 650b version to come out ever since. Feels so much like a Sunday, awesome all around.
