Not the latest and greatest, not your current bike (well, it can be). What's the raddest DH bike ever made, in your opinion?
Here's mine: 2007 Turner DHR
That DHR, to me, was a total game changer. Aggressive angles, mega low bb, light (for the time) and pedaled really well. I know my current DH bike is "faster," lighter and more capable... but that DHR was just soooo sick.
Honorable mentions:
Honda RN01
Lahar
Pretty ugly, both in looks and what the owner of the "brand" did to his customers, but at the time this thing was all sorts of techy and fancy.

i'm proud to say i bought a used one in 2000-ish or so. i'm not proud to say it had a monster t and green doublewides on it. no joke.
i've also thought ancilloti's looked cool. something about that simple, moto-swingarm look
And may I add that with an L frame and angleset its geometry numbers are also pretty up to date.
The Venerable Iron horse Sunday and the Mysterious Honda RN01 are the holy grail of DH bikes.
I have a soft spot for V10's, alu and onwards... And of course, the Trek Session. Specifically this one...
Turner burner DH
From a looks perspective, I think the current Pivot Phoenix is the best looking DH bike I have ever seen.
Yeti DH 6
I still ride this thing...

GT DHI has to bee one of the coolest and unique bikes, has everyone forgotten about this beast? and how pedal efficient she was !?
My next Pick for sure would be the Iron horse sunday, closely followed by the Zerode and ...
The YETI 303 DH which Sam Blenkinsop rode to his first WC win in Schladming in 2008
Cortina Triton
Had my best race results though on a Dorado equipped 03 Giant Dh team...and prob had the most fun during the freeride era on an '01 stab primo with a stratos s8...

My current bike. The Zerode G27.5. I owned a G1 as well and this was the first time ever that I bought the same brands updated version of a bike I already owned, I love it that much!
Then they went and put them in these costumes
#Wet
then the gwin years come to mind, and what we have seen blossom.....I liked yetis back then, but dammmm that thing was perfection
I think most people will be partial to their first bike. I rode some clapped out garbage after I broke the Rotec, and eventually got a Devinci. That bike was great and got me on the podium at Natl's, but I still love the old Rotec.
