So, If I'm counting correctly, there were 7 different dudes that got tested at this round. Right?
According to the Endurotribe website, around 15 riders have been tested.
Normally the riders of the podium are tested, men and women, can be also the winners of other categories (U21, Masters) and riders drawn lots. Remember that a rider who does not show up for a test can also be investigated.
I got 7 down votes for asking who the riders in the pic are, impressive. Can I get 8?
Hahah... how can you get down votes for asking who the people were that got tested!!??
Such reaction to even asking who the riders in the photo are reinforces my beliefs that the riders never get named and shamed, and also that I don’t believe that the EWS have the balls to do so (if they are guilty of course). Though actions of the past do support this.
Don’t understand what the enduro community have against ousting cheats
how dare a guy only recognize the riders that he sees the most.
Craig Stikman Glaspell is one of the most influential people in the mtb industry. Ex GT world cup mechanic from the mid 90's and been involved in the industry ever since. Last 8 years has been with troy lee designs (current role is Global Category Director / Bicycle).
If anyone should be able to name a pro level rider from anywhere in the world its Stickman.

Not too sure about influential, and giving me too much credit to recognize riders, that are out of their gear, in a side profile shot, lo-res, dimly lit, hallway photo, on the internet....And, I also recognize Richie, because I knew he won that race and I don't remember what the podium was there.
Anyway, i'm glad we have shifted the focus of the thread to my nationalism hahaha.
According to an article published on Pinkbike this morning, Richie Rude and Jared Graves have tested positive for Higenamine and Oxilofrine at the Olargues round of the EWS.
Higenamine is a drug used to treat asthma. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways to let the lungs take in more oxygen. Oxilofrine is an amphetamine-based stimulant that increases alertness and focus.
The riders claim to have ingested the drugs accidentally. We do not at this point know the final outcome, nor do we know what sanctions might be imposed by the EWS.
accidental ingestion of banned substances.... hahahahaha last time I looked those two were professional athletes paid $$$$$$$ if that was even remotely believable, you know the rules! So you should know what you are eating... #no1bullsh!t
why should they have been named if they are negative?
so that you know all the names of the ones that have been tested.
when someone reviles the other 3 names you won't have confusion of who you knew already
Wonder if they could spin high testosterone levels, as I crashed in to a bull and accidentally swallowed one of his bollocks!?
There was a woman a few years ago that used the excuse that she swallowed to much semen and that was the cause of her positive test. I believe it was in the CrossFit realm.

With the right PR team, probably. However, so far, the two compounds they (Rude and Graves) have indicated as being positive in their tests were higenamine and oxilofrine which are in-and-of-themselves not positive indicators of of any type of testosterone doping.

My post was a joke... however the interviews on pb are a bigger joke... Harry Potter is a more believable story... but anyway lads... I suppose if you keep saying it enough you might even believe it yourselves
Based on Brock Tickle's experience, Red Bull should be terminating Rude's contract. Sounds like he's out based on his interview if you read between the lines
These guys have been able to push the boundaries with PEDs for a few years in EWS, but both Graves and Rude have been in UCI events for a long time so you'd think they'd understand the testing criteria with the UCI now involved.
Like someone once said, getting caught doping in cycling is more of an IQ test than anything.
Edit: I was at a race in 2011 where I saw two donwhill riders mixing supplements and a part of their conversation with each other led me to believe that they ride the line with supplements just like many other top-level professional athletes.

This was before UCI was involved with EWS in any way. They professionals have been racing in a lax environment of EWS for a few years now. Not suprised it caught up to them. I'm also not suprised EWS is now working with UCI.

I gave you a thumbs up for unashamed nationalism.
But I live in Sweden. I don't recognise any of those guys.

"They say that their failed tests were due to accidental ingestion." No comment on that..

• Greg Callaghan
• Adrien Dailly
• Jose Borges
• Martin Maes
• Jared Graves
• Richie Rude
Those in italics confirmed to PB that there were "Adverse Analytical Findings" from the test.
That leaves three riders who have not been named as having been tested.
