@trpfanboy regarding black stanchions and Fox support, what about Marzocchi?
@jofish regarding the headangle, it might look like it with the top tube sloping down. The way I see it lately is that the best look for a bike is to have the top tube perpendicular to the head angle, everything else makes bikes look weird, sloping it down makes them look steeper and short, sloping it up makes them look like a camel
I guess it's not. Vali is filming I guess.

i think it was discussed before but fox sponsors the racers and Marzocchi does the free-riders and that well at least that's what it is on the DH circuit

yes ik but Martha isn't really a podium threat compared to vali who many think is going to be the next racheal atherton therefore is more likely to sign with the larger and more prestigious parent company
That would track with tagging Pinkbike, but I believe Cathro will be trying to race again next season, so not sure if he would be racing and managing a team. It would be pretty sick to see a full privateer team though.
So now that Emily Batty and half the field in all disciplines are on Canyon I’m going to give them a call and take my chances. Next years default answer for any move has to be Canyon. Crazy... They must be selling a lot of bikes!

I believe that's what Bernard Kerr has been doing for a few seasons, and with some decent success too
Mikayla Parton who you might know from the Cathro Privateer series is staying on Trek bikes supported by the UK arm of the company! Presumably on the same kind of privateer set up she’s on already.
Wouldn't be a surprise. Joystick are virtually impossible to get hold of in the UK now. Everyone is out of stock. I've contacted Joystick in the US a number of times asking about a European distributor with no response.

Are they a US company?! every time i've looked at trying to get some their stuff, it's only been available on European websites.
I've been pretty open in this thread about it being the one I care about most. :-)
I basically like all of the DH field, but is trade a lot of fast, professional, if sometimes mechanical, riders for Phil's drifting, hucking wildman show.

Jill, Vero, Martha, Bex, Casey, Phil, Brendog, Blenki, Kade, Wyn, the whole Pivot crew (I've left out many others but you get the idea) who highlight the joy and fun we get from bikes are who I like to watch.
Watching racing is fun but I'm not ever gonna race a World Cup.
F*cking around on bikes with my friends, crashing, laughing like loons and having a blast is what makes me interested in their sponsors.
Phil on Vee tires? I will absolutely try those even though I'll never be 10% as skilled as Phil.
Looks like loic is on renthal this year

Interesting that they're not covering the rear shock like they did on his and Finn's bike during the 2020 race season. Maybe some new Ohlins rear squishiness?
(and yes, I know they've been on Ohlins for a while).

Honestly I've always been quite surprised that they were with Joystick for as long as they were. I don't understand how Joystick was possibly paying them. We've never once had a customer come into the shop asking questions about the stuff or inquiring about ordering it. I have only once seen a handlebar in person. Maybe in some regions its popular enough to turn a profit but that definitely ain't NorCal. Not dinging them on quality or content either...seems like they make high end stuff and the design and graphics are cool.
