Have not checked the whole thread so maybe this has been up but.. Have anyone heard anything about a new Remedy from Trek? Slash got updated recently and the Remedy is looking remarkably old now, on paper.. Hopefully they keep the 27.5" wheels and some playfulness in the geometry. In-Frame storage and updated kinematics are on my wishlist.
I've been wondering about the remedy as well since it only has 2-3 kits this year, although it's only 2-3 years old isn't it?
With everyone going for 27.5 wheels on the xs/s sizes, which trek does in the fuel ex, I wonder is the current remedy gets pulled into the slash line and if the remedy comes back out as a slacked mid travel bike again.
I find lots of frame manufacturers really setting with a slacked out 130-140ish trail bike and a 160 enduro for thier main trail lines with maybe a super enduro/park bike and a downcountry bike as book ends.im not sure the remedy fits anymore if trek doesn't keep wheel sizes separate
looks like a nice update to the current SD, but just 3 clicks of HSC and 5 LSC seem a bit little? i don‘t need 20 different clicks, but 5-10 should benefit a lot more riders i think.

I mean hey, better than cracking it open and fiddling with shims for HSC
Numbered adjusters: for those who never learned to count
Yeah, I can't count and I also love going through all 20 clicks and counting them to see if the setting was still in the same place... And wonder if the first click counts or not...
Motorsport has been using indexed, numbered clickers for ages. It makes total sense.
true, but if you do come out with a new shock, do it proper IMO
With the middle setting being neutral ("0"), odd number of clicks makes sense, but I agree it would be nice to have 7 or 9 total, providing 3 or 4 clicks in either direction of neutral. 5 on the lsc is several less than the current Ultimate, and 3 for hsc feels like they will be releasing an update one year later with more clicks.
But are they going to sell them aftermarket? Both metric bikes i've have/had, it's been impossible to buy the exact config I needed from any of the online shops in EU. Especially if your bike was supplied with just an R.

Have Monarchs been available in different ETEs and tunes? At least with the Monarch you could replace the tune through a P/N spare part. It's much harder in this regard to deal with Super Deluxes... Plus the Trunnions, bearing mounts, etc.
RS should just offer assembly parts for a decent price so people could build their own shocks the way they need them and be done with it
from new norco vid that went up. (if seen before, sorry)

just buy extra shims from a suspension/moto place and add remove as desired. want more compression, add some 0.15s. want less rebound take out a shim or 2. shims are all 9mm ID

Is the corn emoji the new eggplant?
I must know.
But yeah, even though it's limited at least it has adjusters. Which are indexed and numbered, hallelujah.
Not the best way to keep getting prototype shocks
