@vitalmtb, i cant believe you do not have running list of updates! this topic is so popular with so many crazy rumors, those of us who cant check this thread 20 times a day need an overview of what is going on! or maybe avoiding summaries drives further traffic here...
ahhahah...right on the money. pinkbike showing what real "journalism" is all about hahahahah
Every journalist and content manager from all the big websites know the answers to all of this speculation already. Some for months in advance and are sitting on lots of embargoed press releases. Vital, Pinkbike, MTBNews, etc don't browse each other's forums to get "news" and the inside scoop, which often only relies on various rider's publicly available instagram postings anyway ;-)
Most of the industry and fellow riders know where everyone is going months ahead of time but do they ever like to sit back and watch the guys who heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend's mom speak the real truth.
I think JonJon is right with embargoes, but not in terms of months, maybe days. A lot of things need to come together for an announcement to be ready for an embargo, mainly sponsors. And I assume those are assembled until the very last minute.
Miranda Miller to Kona. On her STRAVA, she has her bike as KP29. Did a little bit of googling, and came across the Kona Process 29. Seems to match up with the Kona rumors from a week or so ago.
hopefully just talking sheet cause there are a ton of e bikes at those trails..... If he is on one I hope he breaks both his legs the first run of the year

I just checker her STRAVA again and it looks like she is going pretty fast on her new process. Already has a couple more QOM's
Late night I was thincking about our very tall french man aka Flo Payet and is significantly different height team mate Marine Cabirou (this rumor thing ad to stop! I need to sleep). Flo seem prety close to Ridding addiction and the commencal family.
The Commencal B team "team Lac Blanc" got a empty spot (Reece Wilson on merida with cannondale DH prototype), Flo could be a good match as team manager / rider (like the Ruffin) and bring Marine too.
Seems like Payet and Marine Cabirou will ride Scott bikes under new team as voulvoul still exist on a national level. Maybe Rudy Cabirou will (re) join the team
Look at this. Gwin says it wasn't his choice leaving YT?.

that screen was already postet a couple of pages before. it‘s the reason we knew he would leave before the official statement.
Ratboy and Cannondale announcement is official. Exclusive interview from Sr. Alex Rankin where they hint at DH bike and "many new bikes" coming through among other rad things.
Official word from Atherton Racing on leaving Trek:
Atherton Racing say goodbye to Trek Bicycles
After three hugely successful years with Trek Bicycles it’s time to embark on a new chapter. The Trek Factory Racing DH team brought home three World Championships, eleven World Cup wins, two World Cup Overalls, three National Championships, a long awaited victory at Red Bull Hardline and reached the pinnacle of sporting achievement with Rachel Atherton’s “Perfect Season”.
During our time with Trek we were joined by a succession of young riders including Atherton Academy graduates Taylor Vernon and Kade Edwards, Aussie Graeme Mudd and latest addition Charlie Hatton. Charlie will continue with Atherton Racing through 2019 and we’re excited to see him reach his full potential. Nothing is more satisfying for us than to see the success of the young riders we’ve brought forward so we are proud that Kade Edwards leaves us this week as Junior World Champion and one of the undisputed hottest talents of 2019. Dan Atherton said “Kade has been part of our team since he was 13 years old, his love for riding is infectious, we wish him well and can’t wait to see what he does in elites.”
Rachel paid a special tribute saying “I just want to say thank you to all at Trek, the last 3 years has been incredible! Racing that Perfect Season in 2016 was pretty special for us all and something I won’t ever forget, 2017 had its ups and downs, but ending 2018 with another World Cup Overall and World Championship on board that beautiful dragonfly paint job was awesome. I learnt a lot riding for Trek and I’ll carry that knowledge with me.”
Gee said “Team rumours have been rife so I doubt many will be surprised to hear this. We’ve all reached a stage in our lives and careers where we want to do something different .. you’ll just have to wait a bit longer to find out what that is.”

After watching the bryceland video, all I care about now is what bike he is going to use for DH, as it seemed clear to me that will be his racing focus based on how he formulated his answer. Will Cannondale give him a DH proto, a Claymore proto/pre-prod or will he need to hack a Jekyll?
My predictions.....
Atherton's to Merida - But ride someone else's frames
Phil Atwill to Scott
Dean Lucas to Scott
Aaron Gwin & Neko to Intense
Unior/Devinci...

Athertons to there own bike brand... been developing bikes for other teams for years now, built a great brand, Gee,Dan and Rach making their own bikes.... it could be the change they are looking for. full control of what they want to ride.

That's what I thought. Changing the trek Facebook to the "A" logo looks to me like they are trying to launch as a brand with their own bike / re badged intense.

Ebike he's referring to is the new Tazer E-Bike.
