So where to take the money for a bigger enduro squad? If so then maybe Norco is the reason for the IBIS-Gehrig divorce and will sponsor the twins with frames?
@Petder Is right on the money there. Gehrig's on Norco frame deal.

Its not racing, but YT is getting ready to launch either the new Capra or a new model of some sort(New DH?, 29er?).

No one said anything is wrong with the Capra; in fact, it's one of the best bikes in class. It needs an upgrade because it's been in its current configuration since 2014.

that other guy seems to think so. but you're saying it needs an update because it's not new enough?

what exactly is an enduro race bike and how do numbers define it as such?
That's a huge can of worms! Not saying it's a bad bike, never ridden one, but YT call it an enduro bike and sell one with race in the name so maybe ask them? It's geometry was pretty standard when it came out and 3 years (nearly 4!) is a long time in the bike industry. It is probably due an update for 2018 surely. Guess we'll see

not at all. just curious about different thoughts on the same subject. it's old or it's not current on geo are very different answers to the same question. still curious what defines an enduro race bike though. parameters on bikes is just plain stupid IMO so I'm curious where people stand since this specific bike came up.
Anybody else find this a bit inappropriate? I mean, don't get me wrong, i'm a standard guy when it comes to hot women and she looks amazing, but that's just it, she LOOKS amazing just standing there instead of being celebrated and cheered at for her riding...

I get you, but... she's obviously ok with it (as I'm sure the other women racers who've been photographed in similar situations are). there's been no shortage of her being celebrated for her riding and this isn't going to change that. I bet it was nice for all the women involved to be seen as feminine when they are almost exclusively seen sweaty and dirty in riding gear and probably don't always feel feminine during their 'day jobs'. I think it takes a lot of courage to do this, especially in such a male dominated sport.
Something along those lines, yeah. It's sad there are many women athletes, who don't do that well sponsorship wise, but have the results needed for the good stuff, while there are many women athletes, that don't do that well performance wise but get the good stuff due to their looks and marketing.
And it's not just racing results, i don't have a problem with paying someone and giving equipment, if that someone does great stuff for the company exposure wise, for example with great riding, cool projects, etc. (kinda like what Joey Schusler, 50:01 crew and the like does).

Being okay with it might actually not be true. 'Do this or you don't get the bucks' is also a good motivator to do stuff you are not that comfortable with in order to do the stuff she loves. And everybody does stuff like that, but the level of uncomfortableness is different for different people and different professions.
And even if she is okay with it, it's still not a good image for the public, who gets more and more okay with it.
And i do agree it takes courage and all, but i still don't think that makes it okay...
I don't have a problem with models, but don't make models out of professional athletes or don't make models into fake pro athletes. That's my point/wish.
