Is there is an extra bolt on the chain stay/Horst link of Jack's bike?
Crazy right? A link instead of a pivot! Genius! Or Folly! Who knows? Perhaps it adds a bit of "Back and roll over." action like a high pivot does? A more supple rear end because it can react differently to different vectors?

without derailing this bike thread too hard, we're hearing (unconfirmed) that the webcast may be limited to certain countries only. not sure if it's red bull putting it on either or a local production company. apparently filmers aren't allowed to film race runs (at this point anyway). typical world champs drama and hopefully the webcast is available to all and easy to see.

It's not a link, it's a 2 piece chainstay that they use on the Ion EBoXX. The bolt on piece at the rear end is called the 'Mutator' and there are 3 different lengths to choose from allowing you to change the chainstay length.
Can you guys get a sneaky scale out there? What does Hill's bike weigh? Minnaar's? Troy's? I'd be psyched to know. Those Canyon bikes look like they don't have a clear coat and just went with stickers.
Why's white paint on mountain bike frames so rare to see? I've heard that it's notorious for being fragile. Is that really the case? It looks great on these bikes, especially with a touch of dark blue to contrast.
No more RAD ? Minnaars bike missing it and also spotted Gwin doesn't have it anymore after having it all season.

Shooting from the hip here. I'm definitely not a great source because I haven't geeked out on the topic yet, but doesn't fox have a brand spankin new four way damper that we have already heard about? Perhaps that's why they aren't RAD anymore? I could be wrong.
here's a gallery of the Dirt Propain Zelvy rides of Trummer and Atwill (who can't race due to an injured wrist).

All these bikes with lots of white on them look epic its a shame that they get muddy but I think I know what colour I want my next bike to be.
