I do have an actual team rumor for a change:
Mona Mitterwallner who reportedly signed to a women's road raceteam has stated in an interview in an austrian bike mag that she will not only keep racing xc wc (that has been revealed already) but actually is going to race for a dedicated mtb team as well.
I find this really interesting as I can't remember that any biking athlete rode for 2 teams at the same time competitively. She also made bold claims regarding the tour the femes and Vuelta I think, so she really means business. I'm more of a Stigger fan myself but given Mona's young age and success on the WC stage already, that's quite a big deal.
She also mentioned the new brand having a trademark top tube and doesn't build road bikes. I thought Corratec at first but they have a roadbike lineup. So any educated guesses?

It's not super common any more, but two that come immediately to mind are John Tomac (#bitd) and Thibault Nys right now.
I think we can expect to see big things from Mitterwallner in the future!
for 2025 pidcock is racing scott road bikes for the q.36.5 team, but will be racing pinarello bikes from mtb (xco/xcc).
edit to add some context - in this particular instance, the owner of the q36.5 team also has a controlling stake in pinarello.

It’s a little more common on the road and cyclocross side of things. At least in the case of Thibau he’s on the same frame brand so it’s a relatively easy transition.
Mondraker’s XC bike is the Podium RR a pretty standard looking top tube… Orbea Oiz?
Surprised I'm not seeing anyone mention SRAM's post regarding Commencal/Muc-off's full roster. Nice to see Maples still on there and the Alran's. Commencal saying PomPom, Maury and Loris are on fresh 3 year deals. Stacked team
Looks like Sam Blenkinsop is running a bunch of personal sponsors including Zerode bikes. Probably means he's not in a team as such. Suspect Bulldog is doing a similar thing based on his posts. We know George Brannigan is not doing World Cups and instead doing a selection of races including Crankworks and Hardline. I wonder if Blenki and Bulldog might follow the same schedule?
Question: Can privateers with good support from personal sponsors even do World Cups this year (assuming they haven't earned the right via top 5s in local races)? Or is it strictly teams only that they'll let in.
He’s got the chain, an Ochain, MRP chain guide. All with fresh bolts ready to go for them. It’s not unheard of to go heavy on the trolling, but he’d have to go buy some of that stuff just to post this photo. I’m going to say my Zerode guess might be wrong and maybe he’s on Ari.

The TR11 has a similar layout, too. The Joshy Frotha Transition deal in that corner of the world made me think about it.

None of you tech-sleuths can enhance/superzoom the fitment details scribbled on that rear axle, and backwards translate it into what frame it's for? You all got high...

You all got high Freckle-gate standards to live up to.
As the originator of freckle gate.... I've got nothing.
The top of the shock is clearly visible. I don't know what size bike Bulldog rides but I think he is on the shorter side? The medium TR11 does not have a shock extender so the shock is nestled in the downtube and you wouldn't see it like this. Clearly he is blurring out the mounting points. If he rides a large TR11, then that is an option. Otherwise it could be Ari, Polygon (doubt it), Zerode (unlikely given the components). I also think that based on the original disguised image the rear pivot is below the axle. I'm really not sure.

Commencal muc off is the star racing Yamaha of the DH world

Brook trolling with that chain?
Only one brake rotor visible in bulldogs bike build post on Instagram, potential switch to unicycle team? What NZ based unicycle brands are there?

Bulldog posted this clip this morning , riding a forbidden?
Probably still just using his old bikes, he and forbidden have already confirmed they’re parting ways.
Loic posted this on his insta. Is he moving to Sellotape, 3M, Gorilla tape? Wild!
The industry is hurting hard. He has traded in the Porsche and invested in the adhesive tape game
Muc-Off in the pic. Other than Commencal who do they sponsor.
Not necessarily trolling, the X01 DH cassette (CS-XG-795-A1) works with 11s chains

Looks like a Maxle stealth to me...
in an alternate universe, there is a Guerilla Gravity DH team sponsored by Gorilla Glue
That BB and crank set rules out a gearbox bike for the Bulldog then.
And heard on the Geek Warning podcast a while back, the road team will be on Pinarello bikes for '26
didn't listen to that podcast but I heard something about that as well, I got the impression they are just running out the contract with Scott for '25
