Looks like Anna Newkirk, or another medium height woman with brown hair. That would check out. Although it could have theoretically been Callie Horwath, Neko's gf. Anna would make more sense from a marketing and team hype perspective though.
I haven't listened to the episode but Sam Blenkinsop is on the stay on your bike podcast saying he's stopping riding world cups but still racing other events which I would assume to be hardline and crankworx .
I reckon there will be a fair few riders making similar plans for next year .
It will be interesting to see how much support from the industry riders with a high profile but whose world cup days are behind them get .

That case allegedly took place in Fort William last year. The acuser was involved/working for Muc Off
Whilst I'm well aware of the allegations, that's the first time I'd heard that the incident happened in Fort William. If so, I'm wondering if it occured during the national series weekend?
No that was a DH racer, other site has a quote stating that in this instance "he's a loved and respected person in the enduro world"
I’m really of two minds on looking for who it could be. On the one hand, I want to know so that “justice” or “retribution” can be enacted, but on the other hand, I feel like doing the sleuthing to figure out who it was takes power away from Ares and that she should have the right to name the accused in her own time.

Let the legal systems sort it out. If it's information that is not meant to be public yet, it won't be. To respect her privacy as well as allow legal systems to follow their course we shouldn't dig. Digging for team rumors and staff/personnel changes are one thing, this is something else.
I would be willing to bet we'll know the name at some point anyways.
In most other media, it was announced as Pidcock is leaving Ineos. However, the MTB world, uses the word off - any reason why?
Just semantics I think, it's been widely reported that neither Ineos nor Pidcock were happy w/ the relationship so I'm guessing "off" vs "leaving" was an editorial decision.
Saint Charles, IA - BGR Mondraker/Ohlins is pleased to announce a two-rider team focusing on the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series Championship. Downhill racers Kallie Stewart and Carson Morgan join team manager Clint Mongan for the team’s inaugural season in 2025.
Kallie Stewart is fresh off a Monster Energy DH championship in the 15-16 Cat 1 girls class and will be making the jump to the Pro Class in 2025. “I’m really excited to have the best people and brands in my corner for this important part of my career,” the 15-year-old said. “I can’t wait to get started!”
Carson Morgan also had an impressive 2024 season as the top 15-year-old in the 15-16 Cat 1 class and will fight for the championship in 2025. “I’m stoked to be joining BGR Mondraker/Ohlins,” said Morgan. “I’ve spent a little time on the bike, and I can already tell it's a bike I can win on.
Boone Gravity Racing owner Clint Mongan has been developing youth talent for the past three seasons and is excited for this new opportunity to continue his passion in 2025 at the nation's biggest events.
“The main goal for this new team in its first years is to assist young racers with World Cup potential in getting the support they need early in their careers to reach that elite level. When BGR Mondraker/Ohlins becomes synonymous with that level of success, then the business and investment side of it will take care of itself.
Additionally, the team will partner with Pedro’s Bike Care to create a neutral support area for all the privateer racers who need to service their bikes and equipment to safely complete at the Monster Energy Pro Downhill events
Awesome! Kallie's got a bright future. Talented rider with good family support behind her (they do some serious travel and living on the road to make races, from what I've seen).
So is this where we start to see better investment in some regional series as teams figure out life with the new WC regulations? I would be stoked to see more of this.

Carson is so fast, podiums in pro class in Eastern States Cup races often, good to see him get a ride.
We all knew this was about to happen- across the board globally I mean….. BUT! here is where the true believers get -go to- build and love- staff, all those national teams for various national race series. Or as WB thinks it will work, the “ feeder series” …..
If someone can put tougher a media package that’s rivals WB tho……. Then they may just be the “uci Europe dh guys”
It’s Deja vu really …..
Should be vey very interesting to watch this all play out

Sadly, another agresion happened on 2023 enduro World séries on Forestal rider Ares Masip, who's bravely standing UP and talking about it #METOO
Sam isn't racing his closest Hardline in Tasmania so i doubt he is racing them.
Could this be case which was mentioned few pages back with rider that got fired from 2 teams and was riding privateer last year? Timing would match.
That case allegedly took place in Fort William last year. The acuser was involved/working for Muc Off
That was another rider, Thibault daprela, fired from commençal muc-off and canyon and going privateer..
In this case, we don't know the name yet..
not DH related but noteworthy (i believe it was previously mentioned as a rumor) but pidcock is officially off Ineos Grenadiers

Matt Walker (english) to Trek Factory Racing. Per OTB podcast. Could be a good fit
What if it's a world cup winning junior girl moving up to elite and being picked up by mondraker?
https://www.wideopenmountainbike.com/2024/12/orbea-announce-the-end-of-the-orbea-enduro-team-after-over-a-decade-of-racing
Enduro exodus starts
Would she happen to be Scottish by any chance? That would be a very very good move if so.
Confirmed!!...well kinda. Anna Newkirk selling her Contra on a used bike website in Switzerland..she's going somewhere thats for sure.https://traildevils.ch/Market/Contra-BR200-a19eb18f9963c66a4a3a08dd1523b0ff
In most other media, it was announced as Pidcock is leaving Ineos. However, the MTB world, uses the word off - any reason why?
So a completely restart of Trek Factory Racing? Sounds good for me.
Abby Hogie you mean?!
Just semantics I think, it's been widely reported that neither Ineos nor Pidcock were happy w/ the relationship so I'm guessing "off" vs "leaving" was an editorial decision.
I'm so glad Matt has got a good ride. He his super talented and a super nice lad.

Transition Factory Racing is over.
Damn, That sucks! I don't see Jorge tagged unless he is Dig610? They made something so cool happen building that team up.
Gonna be a rough announcement season.
