Why have criteria #2-4 (there's 6 btw)? We've covered this. So smaller teams that don't have all the points but may have signed an interesting/fast/legacy rider or two etc.. have a shot. Or for example criteria 3 - "UCI Team composition (multi-category, multi-gender) ". So a team with slightly less points but that has signed women and juniors has a shot against the quite common male dominated teams. Or when making the selection between two similar teams when one has a rider who has been done for a doping violation in the past (criteria 6)?
So ya, seems there's loads of reasons to have diverse selection criteria for 5 of the 20 teams.
As for your junior comments. They cancelled a race in loudenville because of safety concerns around evacuations. Might have been the wrong call. We'll never know. Funny you don't mention the fact that WBD broadcast all junior racing live and free on YouTube though? Something the UCI nor red bull TV ever cared about. Seems in that sense WBD are more concerned with the fans getting to see the racing?
Pretending like Elite racing wasn't free before and WBD isn't just using the juniors as a funnel into their paid coverage isn't the best argument I've heard... though it is cool that we finally get to see coverage of the juniors, so in that sense, it has been a positive change.
On the rumor front: Last year there was quite a lot of hype around first-year juniors with Asa, the Alran brothers, and Tyler Waite - anybody of note coming into next season?

From what I've seen, from a euro perspective the girls are going to have some tight competition amongst the first years. Both the Rosas (Zierl and Jensen) and Lina Frener. Add to that Aletha Ostgaard and there's four big contenders for a podium. I'll add Cassandra Peizerat in the mix, but well have to see if she stays racing DH (she's also a growing talent in the alpine skiing world)
For the guys, Is Cohen Bundy a 2008 or '09? It's really sad to see Cash Shaleen out of action, he would have made quite an impact and we have to wait another year before a skinny, ginger-haired Spanish kid named Marcel makes his debut. That'll be something.

Junior womens class is gonna be stacked in '25. And with the fast juniors moving up to elite, women's racing is going from strength to strength.
Rumor wise seems most of those those junior women racers you mentioned will be on factory teams or close to it?
Zierl - Cube Jensen - Gen S Frener - Norco Ostgaard - Canyon Factory

not exactly "new" as this was the setup intended for the cancelled Nines earlier this year. She might just be riding her spare frames until the reveal of a new sponsor (if so)
Dude's been on more teams than anyone else in half the time, I wish he'd find some solid footing team wise, as when he does he's usually a top 10 threat.

Top 10? Andreas is a guy who gets on the podium very often and has already won WC, a World Championship medal and has been European champion. YT is not the best for him in terms of performance, as we have already seen with Valentina this season compared to Trek. Greetings!

Maybe you are thinking of a different Andreas? But Kolb has only ever been on one factory team (Atherton), prior to that he has raced for Gamux (before they had their own bike) and a local Austrian distributor. So of all the World Cup winners, he's like Bruni almost, having raced for only one 'factory' team.

Cohen is 09, But maybe the Mallen twins and Nick Frazier are stupid fast and 08.
So Danny Hart is the World champ of Norco, is gonna be interesting to see him in Champery World champs..
It did seem like that to me previously, even before someone mentioned "world champ to Norco."
The GT/Continental that he was on was definitely going away, Norco wants results and Danny's always a sliver off the top and could have a great race any day of any year, and if he can keep his mechanic (whose name I can't remember because I'm a dumb person) that bike's going to get better and everyone in the pits is going to get better learning by osmosis.
If their goal is to have a great bike they can sell, Danny and his mechanic contributing to that bike will speed it along that path.
cast bar is a giveaway too seeing as they seem to be the only team using them

Any others?
Will Tegan Heap still be with Pivot this year?
Reading the description of her latest video I doubt she will be on PFR next year:
[...] Although things may be looking a little different for me next year [...]
Her parents probably don't want her to be BK's next girlfriend
What about Monika Hrastnik? As an ex AM Doroval athlete ... 8. overall. Any ideas?
Tahnee just posted up new bike day...https://www.instagram.com/p/DDCwxL3t3UT/?img_index=5&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
No news yet, she was still riding her old commencal this weekend...

Insert dude spitting cereal meme... Ouch
Spoilers in last Lalyche TV vidéo..
Goodman Santa Cruz with a stacked team and two new riders.. 🙈🙊

Estaque and Bouladou. Definitely two of the better names in the scene.
Estaque.
Bouladou.
Andreas to YT MOB? 🥴
Dude's been on more teams than anyone else in half the time, I wish he'd find some solid footing team wise, as when he does he's usually a top 10 threat.
I think he spoiled Vergier on Commencal Muc-Off too !
But we heard it on here first, a month ago. Vital team rumours still way ahead of the curve.
The question is are they adding a new junior to the roster now that Falquet steps up to elite?
Rowan Cross (Chamonix valley shredder) perhaps?

The other site seems to be confident in several rumors. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/racing-rumours-anna-newkirk-to-frameworks-loris-vergier-to-commencal-fmd-on-orbea.html
they just went through the 40 pages of rumors here and sent it 🤣
Their own comment section even calls it out:
A 🚗 🚀 is definitely riding a bike designed by a 🐐.
Cohen is 09, But maybe the Mallen twins and Nick Frazier are stupid fast and 08.

that's my red website username :D giving the credits where it's due
