For 2020 the motorized element of one of SCOTT's most successful and trail-proven platforms, the SCOTT Genius, comes with Bosch's latest generation of the CX drive unit providing a natural feeling assist, more power and improved frame design. This is the ultimate choice for riders who want confidence when the terrain gets rougher!

The Genius eRIDE is assisted by the latest Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 with a maximum power output of 75Nm and 340%. The rider can choose between 5 assist modes or opt for the comfort of the e-MTB mode which automatically adapts to a natural feeling assist.

For more stability and better handling, 52% of the frame kit weight is centered around the bottom bracket area. This zone is the stiffest zone of the bike. Thanks to our knowledge in carbon we used clever layering reinforcement to match drive unit stress while other areas like the top tube are lighter with fewer carbon layers.

Range Booster Technology

Sticking with the status quo isn't how we work at SCOTT. As a rider, you should solely focus on your journey and not on the battery level at all! Therefore the majority of our 2020 eRIDE models including the highlights - SCOTT Genius, Strike, Axis EVO and Aspect eRIDE come with the ability to mount SCOTT's range booster system on its down tube, ready to add an additional 500Wh battery providing you with a solid total of 1125Wh and transforming each bike into a true endurance machine.
