Rob Warner's YT Capra 29, Size XXL 30

Big bike for the big man and brake lever angle that will have you looking twice. Oh yeah, he's our next guest on The Inside Line tomorrow, too.

This week's Inside Line guest shows off his XXL YT Capra 29. The size of the bike (and Rob) dwarf the 29-inch wheels, making it look like a perfect fit, which Rob says is the case regarding the 160mm-travel machine.

Rob speaks about his YT Capra 29
(and crazy brake lever set-up)

Rob has never ridden a 29er before outside of a short-travel XC bike and is finding his way with this do-it-all beast. He's swapped to Schwalbe Magic Mary tires and his brake levers (and reasoning for running them nearly parallel to the ground) will definitely make you look twice. He runs DMR V12 flat pedals and has cut his Renthal Fatbars down to 780mm width from 800mm. Surprising for a man of his stature, but he felt the 800mm width was just too sketchy in some of the tighter tree sections on his local trails.

See Vital's First Ride feature on the new YT Capra to get all the specs and details about the bike.

Listen to the audio above to learn why Rob runs his levers nearly parallel to the ground!

Stay tuned because we have a fantastic interview with Rob on The Inside Line podcast dropping tomorrow, April 4.
