From one Stumpy Evo owner to another, that is a sick ass building right there man! Well done!! I have a RS suspension setup on mine as well, it didn't seem like the MegNeg would fit on there with the support beam on the right side being so close to the shock, Ever considered the magneg upgrade? ever tried to see if it would fit? Just curious because I want one for my stumpy...

I'm actually about to try a MegNeg. I have confirmed that it will fit. I was talking to one of the suspension guys at The Big Red S. He seems on the fence about recommending it out right, but encouraged me to try it and see if it accomplishes what I am looking for. My current set up is a M/M Super Deluxe with maxed out tokens. I've been playing with different sag settings between 25 and 30%. Close to 30 feels awesome but not supportive enough past the mid stroke. Closer to 25 feels more supportive but harsh on repeated square edge hits. I'll let you know if the Meg Neg gives me that Goldilocks setup.

Take a look at the cascade link from Cascade Components it achieves a similar top and mid stroke plushness with more bottom out resistance. And it adds 7mm of travel to the rear end!

yea I've have seen the cascade link there but it really isn't for me, its too expensive and it won't allow me to run a mullet setup on my bike, I feel like Specialized has taken some great input from cascade and fixed issues with previous Stumpy evo models so they are on the right track with this new version in my opinion.

Yea I would agree with that as well, when I asked Specialized if the superdeulxe would fit they didn't want to give me a straight answer either which was concerning so thanks for letting me know that the megneg will for sure fit! I want to get one because I agree with you on the sag. When I run anything less than 30% sag I get knocked around on the bike big time and its not fun to ride BUT when I ride 30% sag or more, it feels super plush but it bottoms out super easy at the same time. Hopefully the megneg will solve this problem with the suspension, let me know how it goes please!

Yeah I think the Grid Trail tires are helping out. I've never been a weight weenie but coming from a 38 lb Meta TR... It's noticable.
