Intro Text
Go for broke or play the long game? Regardless of strategy, the first day of racing during the first Enduro World Series of 2018 proved to be a challenge. High in the arid, barren mountains of Lo Barnechea, Chile, competitors fought dust, rocks and unpredictable lines as they raced the clock in the first three of six stages. Sam Hill and Cecile Ravanel emerged from dust victorious, but as Sam said, they're only half way to getting the job done.
Enjoy a trackside seat as Sven Martin takes us to the race in Chile with his photographs and candid rider interviews.
