Speaking of, have a closer shot of that little mud guard you made? I assume with a tube and some crafty cutting and zip tie work?

I don't have anything closer but I did it in a pinch and it worked great. No buzzing, didn't get in the way....

Would have loved for Turner and DW to integrate a fender, shame it fell through. Same with DW's chainstay protector's he had plans for. Props on your bike though! Impressive ziptie/tube work. Looks clean. Have some toobs layin around since I changed to tubeless a few weeks ago, might have a go.

I am still on this bike. 12 years of DHR's for me. I've always loved them. I really enjoy trying other bikes but always come back to these...

The fender is too costly compared to how minute the benefits are, especially considering the how cheap it is to just mock up a ghetto one when its nasty out.
