Yeti Cycles will be offering two different types of carbon bikes in 2017. These include the Turq and Carbon models. Turq models are the high-end offering with a 250-300g weight savings over the Carbon variety. Each bike features a different material layup but retains similar strength properties. The first bike to come in both types of carbon is the SB5 which also sees a revamp for 2017. The new model moves to internal cable routing with a tube-in-tube routing method to prevent rattling. There's an access port on top of the downtube to aid in the installation process. The bike has been updated to have much lower standover than before, uses a Metric shock and runs with the Boost standard. Yeti's Women line, called the Yeti Beti series, is claimed to have best-in-class standover heights in the Small and XS sizes of the SB5.
