Orange continue to refine their Alpine 160. A 27.5"-wheeled bike with 160mm travel, the Alpine gets a longer top tube, slightly slacker headangle, and internal dropper post cable routing.

Bet there will be a sizable resurgence in single pivot bikes in the next couple years when FOX starts integrating the Live Valve. Still have the brake jack/squat/whatever issue. But as far as turning the cranks and making power a SP bike will be just as efficient as any VPP/Multi link bike for cheaper... And yeah, that bike is sweet looking!

I always felt Some Orange bikes looked a bit out of balance before with the big chunky swingarm, but this version really looks spot on. Digging the straight frame tubes too. Like Matt Dogg said... clean, simple, and badass.

I kind of want the Orange just so I can be the anti-hero on the trails. No fancy shmancy nancy VPP, DW, ABP, Maestro, multi-linkage, overpivoted, underpivoted, pivotless, flexing stays, four bar, faux bar, etc...... Just clean, simple, and badass. Props to Orange for keeping it real for so long. Might have to check out recent reviews on their bikes.
