Corratec have found inspiration in the automotive industry, and added what amounts to a silent block to the rear shock mount. The elastomer adds a bit of travel, but its main purpose is to provide a more reactive suspension system.

The elastomer is said to be able to react more quickly to the very first part of any suspension event, effectively overcoming any stiction in the system (typically inherent to airshocks).
