We've now heard from at least three major wheel companies that they are making 650b wheels in the very near future. Because SRAM's new Rise 40 wheel is aluminum, it was easier for them produce it in a 650b version that the higher end carbon varieties. As the boys at SRAM put it, they have "the rollability of a 29 and the snapicity of a 26."
